When we camped this was the only campground we would stay at. The campground is clean, price is right and the things they have to do good. Love the docks to fish and crab off of and the cleaning station. They have a pool also - though small. I do have to say we stopped camping there for 2 reasons... More

Our second year at Tom’s Cove for the Pony Swim, and we had a blast. We met up with campers we met at last year’s 2013 PS. We all loved staying at Toms Cove. I have read reviews that say the management and staff at Tom’s Cove is not very friendly. From our experiences we found the opposite. The Tom’s... More

There was a group of is traveling together and we were thankful to be informed we'd all be able to stay together and each... More

This is the third year that my sister and I stayed at Tom's Cove for Pony Penning Week. We were pleased with the small upgrades to the bathrooms near the non hook up sites. They put in new sinks and added a bit to the privacy walls of the stalls. (Both were much needed!). They could do a bit more... More

My husband and I went to Tom's Cove park with friends and we absolutely loved it! We were there over the 4th of July and it was packed (which we expected), but we had a blast. We had a nice-sized campsite for the camper with full hookup, they have an awesome country camp store, long docks to fish or crab... More

We just spent a week here for 4th of July. We had such a great experience we booked for Labor Day. This was our first time at Tom's Cove and had a wonderful time. We didn't have to leave the campground if we didn't want to. They have everything from huge docks for fishing and crabing to a pool and... More

We have been staying at Tom's Cove Chincoteague Island, VA for the past 4 years. We have been there in the summer and it is right on the water. The sites are nice, the bathhouse behind the camp store is big and clean. Only thing is, bring some protection from mosquitoes. They ride around fogging for them but still they... More

The reservation: We mailed our reservation in as does everyone else. We requested water front, and were told spots are first come first serve.....Ok......so we called the night before to see if any were even available to determine if we should rush in in the morning. We were told NO. When we arrived around noon the next day we were... More

My husband and I recently stayed the weekend here and we booked four more weekends throughout the rest of the summer. This was our first camping experience....we chose a tent site without electric hookup. Im glad we chose the site without electric hookup it was quieter and we didnt really need it. The bathrooms and showers were less than 100ft... More
