First do not expect a 4-star hotel. This is a great place to relax, unwind and enjoy yourself with family. The rooms are quaint, well furnished with all utensils and everything that you would need. Yes, the furnishings are older but the cost effectiveness of the units definitely outweighs. After a long day at the beach the room is comfortable, cold... More

We had a nice visit. The staff friendly and accommodating. The pool refreshing. The parking was plenty and we were out of the way of the crowded ave, although very close walk to all. We would certainly stay again at this very cozy place.

I liked this hotel. The people in the office were great. The room was small and basic but just what I needed for a night or two. The only thing that bothered me was their were people hanging around the pool that claimed to be friends of the owners. It seemed a little unprofessional.

We stayed 7/19 and 7/20 2014. Spotless accommodation. Relatively new and Spotless carpeting. Quiet. Off the main street and up a dirt road. Very small pool that was in use even at 10pm. Office area very neat and quiet. Books available if you get bored. Fruit coffee and crescents for breakfast. Anything we needed was brought immediately. Bedding hard. Bedroom... More

First, I'm really on the fence about giving this place a 3 or 4. I suppose if I could give it a 3.5, I would. The main reason, I'm not giving it a 4 is because I think the room (we stayed in the apartment) could use some updating. It's not bad, but the dark wood trim and furniture seems... More

My fiance and I stayed at the Assateague Inn this weekend on a spur of the moment trip to Chincoteague. It was great! Perfect little spot in town and great room for the price. It is nothing fancy, but who wants the Ritz when they're going to the beach anyways? It was very clean and the staff was very friendly,... More

Everything about our stay here was great. This was our first trip to Chincoteague, and by looking at the other hotels on the island, this seems to be in the best spot. It's only a few miles from the beach, but it's secluded enough that it's quiet and peaceful at night. There's a gorgeous view from the balcony, and we... More

This was my family's fifth trip to the island, and our first trip to Assateague Inn. Put simply, we've found our home on the island. The staff was amazing, making us feel right at home, and the location is stunning. We found we were close enough to walk to many attractions, yet were able to enjoy the peace and quiet... More

My husband and I recently stayed here for a long weekend. We stayed in one of the one-bedroom apartment. It was clean, well-stocked in the kitchen and comfortable. The location is convenient to everything. You can walk to the downtown (1.5 miles or so), Maddox Boulevard which is the main strip, and then a short trip to the beach. Our... More
