My hubby and I stayed here in June 14. I just went on the website to book this year's fishing trip, and to my sad surprise, that have closed. This was a beautiful place. Dave and Kathy were lovely hosts. We wish you both well in the future. Shikeya and Anthony

During a recent family reunion, we stayed at the lovely Irish Isles B&B with several family members. We had the whole main house to ourselves, and it definitely felt like a home away from home. We were there for two nights, but I wish we could have stayed longer. Since it was a family reunion, we opted out of the... More

This is a great place to stay on your way to the outerbanks. It is in the midst of pines The house is modern (2003) with spacious rooms and the owners very hospitable We went into town and ate at the Courthouse which is not far. The place is comfortable quiet and clean. In the morning a good breakfast and... More

I was in Chesapeake for business for a full week and decided to ditch the hotel chains. Beautiful house and landscape was just turning green. Kathy and Dave were fantastic and I was spoiled with fantastic breakfasts every morning. If you like animals and want something different stay here!. They have horses and alpacas in the front pasture and two... More

It's hard to describe how wonderful the Irish Isle Bed & Breakfast was. We've visited Chesapeake three times in the last four years and now that we've stayed at the Irish Isle, we consider the area a home away from home. During our previous visits, we stayed in a hotel which was fine but you cannot compare a hotel to... More

We found Irish Isle on Trip Advisor and through photos and description liked the quality and beauty of the home. We were not disappointed. Our talented host Dave was very accommodating, gave good suggestion for dinner out and served up a great Eggs Benedict in the morning. In addition our room was lovely, comfortable and many upscale amenities were included.... More

We were looking for a place for our family members from Maryland and Virginia to gather for a reunion and found this extraordinary bed and breakfast. Leaving the interstate driving behind us, we turned onto a scenic drive including horses in pastures, ponds with frogs, wood carvings and a swing to sit and ‘while away the time’. You can swim,... Staying at Irish Isle in Chesapeake take the B & B experience to a new level. This is a hard act to follow as the owners Kathy & Dave welcome you into their beautiful house on 11 acres. Complete with pond, horses and a pretty view gave me a peaceful setting to view. There is also a pool and pretty... More

Irish Isle is a beautiful B&B run by a super couple (Kathy and Dave). You will feel just like a part of their family when you stay here. All 4 rooms are on the 2nd floor along with a large common area (where you will find a mini-fridge stocked with water and sodas). The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable... More

We were traveling by motorcycle and we spent a night at this really amazing B&B. Situated on 11 acres this home has everything you want in a B&B and more. The bedrooms are spacious and the second floor common room is huge. There is an outdoor area were you can sit and relax and there is a swimming pool also.... More
