I throughly enjoyed my 2 month stay at this Value Place location. Kudos to Sagar, Laura, cleaning staff and maintenance folks for being so professional, polite and friendly. I felt welcome from the moment I stepped up to the front desk and for the remainder of my stay. When I would walk be the front desk Sagar and Laura always... More

Thank you Sagar, Brandon and the rest of the staff. You guys were amazing. The place was clean, the location felt safe. I did not feel as if there were shady guests at all. The room and the bathroom were spotless My only complaint was that my bill said one thing, and I was actually charged about $10 more. I... More

They stole my deposit. I requested to have my room inspected before I checked out two different nights and was refused. They said there was wax all over the floor which is a bold face lie. Why would I have left candle wax on the floor???? I stayed there like two nights out of my seven day period and they... More

I have been staying at Value Place for over 2 months. I have been so pleasantly surprised by Value Place. It is so nice to have a stove and full refrigerator rather than just a microwave. The facility is immaculate and quiet. I have not experienced any drama which makes me very comfortable. Teri and Laura have been especially courteous... More

I spent 2 weeks at this Value Place and I absolutely enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and the room was so ridiculously clean and well maintained that I was SHOCKED. And I stay at 4 and 5 star hotels mostly. This was my first time at a Value Place and I was apprehensive.

I'm in week #9 of my stay here and they just, this past week, upgraded the internet. And when I say upgraded I mean UPGRADED. I've now had it for a few days and I can honestly say this is the fastest internet you will find in any hotel and probably faster than 99% of you have at home. They... More

My husband and I checked in to this location last Tuesday and the staff was helpful. The room was clean and it was pretty quiet. I felt safe. Overall it's a nice place to stay temporarily (maybe 1 or 2 weeks if you must) but can get pricey. The only negative in my opinion was the $100 deposit charged to... More

Thank you for your comments. I understand your frustration about the deposit. We are required to refund the deposit in the same currency we collected it. Unfortunately with debit and credit cards that means that it can take 3 - 5 business days for the money to actually show up. We process the refund right away but the credit card... More

I'm not sure where to begin....I travel frequently and thought I'd save the govt some money by staying here instead of a respectable hotel, but all I got was headaches. I'll start with saying the two front desk clerks were very nice, but their hands were tied and they constantly had to ask the property manager to do anything. the... More

About This LocationValue Place Chesapeake is conveniently located off of Kempsville Rd. and Battlefield, just minutes away from Virginia Beach. Here you can enjoy the Hampton Roads area – Chesapeake is one of seven cities that make up this area. Visit The Chesapeake Bay Bridge, one of the world’s longest bridges, or celebrate the finer things in life with a night out for dinner, music or the theater. Value Place Chesapeake is less than one hour away from historic Jamestown and Williamsburg, VA. Busch Gardens is less than an hour away and if you have extra time, our nation’s capital is just four hours north. Don’t forget to check out the Chesapeake Arboretum and the Dismal Swamp Canal. Once you arrive at our location, our friendly Value Place Chesapeake team will be happy to help you navigate around town. Just think of us as your guide to the Chesapeake area - from the best local restaurants and attractions to any driving directions you might need to get you there, we are here to make your stay at Value Place Chesapeake exceptional.Value Place is a much better place Before you decide to stay at Value Place, we want you to be prepared—prepared for a better guest experience. What that means to us is a truly affordable, incredibly clean, safer, simple, flexible experience. And this is more than just a nice idea—it’s the Value Place promise. So how do we do it? By combining all the convenience of a hotel and all the essentials of an apartment. We’re a hybrid—and that makes us better than a hotel, an apartment or any other short-term or long-term housing accommodations you’ll find. Think about it—no extras padded into our price, no hidden fees. No lease to sign, no utilities to set up. And that’s just for starters. Find out how we’re different and what to expect when you’re here. What to expect when you arrive After a brief room tour, you’ll register, pay for the week plus a refundable $100 deposit, and agree to our house rules—which basically come down to common-sense policies that protect the privacy and security of each and every guest. Value Place is a family-friendly place, and children 17 and under stay free. To maintain a consistent guest experience at all of our properties we do have a No Pet Policy, except for service animals. Then we’ll show you to your guest room. It’s that easy. What to expect in your room Although Value Place offers several room choices, the essential features stay the same. You can always count on a simple but fully furnished studio with a kitchen that includes a full size refrigerator and freezer, a microwave, a two-burner stovetop and plenty of cabinet space. You’ll also find two drinking cups, a trash bag, a roll of bathroom tissue and a bar of soap to get you started—because at Value Place, we figure you’d rather shop on your own terms than pay for extras you may not need. If you do want to take advantage of the additional amenities and services we offer—from kitchen cookware to high-speed Internet—they’re available anytime for your convenience for a minimal fee. There’s only one thing guests never seem to be completely prepared for—how astonishingly clean our rooms are. What to expect in and around our building All Value Place properties are newly constructed from the ground up and electronically locked 24/7. That means no one can access our interior-corridor entrances without a valid key card. (No exterior room doors here like at most discount hotels or extended stay motels.) Featuring at least eight cameras and a very well lit parking lot, we keep your safety in and out of the building in mind. All public areas are cleaned daily—including our well-lit parking lot. Beyond our commitment to cleanliness and safety, we also offer vending machines and an onsite laundry room for your convenience. What to expect from our team You won’t find a friendlier team anywhere. Our helpful staff—from Studio Attendants to the Property Manager—will make sure your guest experience is a positive one, whether you need something for your room or directions to the closest car repair shop. At Value Place, you can expect courteous treatment from professionals who are committed to maintaining guest privacy and peace of mind. In fact, some team members live onsite to uphold our rigorous cleaning and safety standards. What to expect at every Value Place When it comes to Value Place, you don’t have to compete with anyone for that perfect apartment or hunt for the best hotel deal in town—we’re always the better choice. At your typical extended stay motel, discount hotel or other short-term housing solution, guests have to give up something that really matters. Not here. At Value Place you will always receive an affordable price in a Cleaner, Safer, Simpler, and Flexible property. We’re about living better through better value. And that makes us the smarter choice. Best of all? We promise a consistently positive guest experience at every Value Place you visit. Explore Value Place locations or make a reservation today. ... more   less
