I stayed in the hotel previously in Septemeber on a free weekend pass. The room was clean. I love the stand in shower so we decided to book another room the third weekend in October. The girl at the front desk when we checked in was awesome. Very courteous and nice. We got checked in quickly, got settled in, and... more

I stayed in this hotel last night and it was quite cool. This was my first Aloft property I have had the chance to stay at. Due to some rough flight delays, I didn 't get in to the hotel until 1AM. While I appreciated the front desk clerk's offer of free pool tables, I was off to bed. The... more

Location was convenient to location of a wedding in the family, but also convenient to a nice shopping center and also to the freeway (close but not too close). more

For a cheaper hotel, it gets many things right, with only a few improvements needed in my opinion. There isn't a traditional front desk here, but a "multi-service" desk and self service touch-screen kiosks. You don't actually need the service desk to check in/out. I actually liked this aspect. The lobby is an open layout with a large lounge/bar area,... more

How does the Aloft hotel greet its visitors? With a set of 3 parking spaces reserved for "hybrid parking only." How welcoming, given that none of the 3 spaces sported a hybrid when I stayed there this month. My second impression wasn't much better...after finding a parking space further from the front door, despite the fact that the hybrid spaces... more

Overall our experience was "okay". My husband and I are starwood hotel fans and had heard of a "cost efficient" version of the W hotel. We thought we would try it on our family trip to Chesapeake, VA. (our trip consisted of my mom, my husband, brother and one teenage cousin with 2 rooms on opposite sides of the hall)... more

My boyfriend just returned from overseas and we wanted someplace nice to stay and what was available at a good price was the aloft at Chesapeake. It was different from what we are used to, but hey we think outside the box and like to try something new. For example, the hallway was decorated primarily in brown which made it... more

We had reserved a room on-line with this hotel's website for 2 rooms. Got the confirmation email and left home with no worries. I called at 8 p.m. to let them know that we would be coming in late, around midnight, and were told there would be no problem. When we arrived at midnight, we were told that there were... more

Great for the laser tag crowd This hotel shows an admirable design focus. The room was the height of efficiency-a modernist package in a very compact space. I can’t believe this won’t encourage a raft of imitators, since it looks great, and probably costs significantly less that a standard hotel room. Nice touches abound like bottled water, a contemporary magazine... more

The lobby of the aloft is very trendy and modern - comfortable chairs and couches indoor and in the outdoor lounge. The lobby offers a nice bar with great details, pool table, and snack bar. The staff was friendly and efficient. We arrived WAY before check-in and the front desk said it was no problem and checked us in immediately... more
