How does the Aloft hotel greet its visitors? With a set of 3 parking spaces reserved for "hybrid parking only." How welcoming, given that none of the 3 spaces sported a hybrid when I stayed there this month. Great for the laser tag crowd This hotel shows an admirable design focus. The room was the height of efficiency-a modernist package in a very compact space. I can’t believe this won’t encourage a raft of imitators, since it looks great, and probably costs significantly less that a standard hotel room. Nice touches abound like bottled water, a contemporary magazine... more

We're staying at this hotel. We were certainly attracted to the location, the fact that it's a brand new, apparently opened in February of 2009 – W xyz is an innovative approach to lodging. This is a business trip, with the whole family. The rooms are very modern, with first class features, glass enclosed shower, electronics and very comfortable beds.... more
