Stayed for two weeks here on business. Staff was ok. Cleaning service usually came late in the day when I had returned to the room after work. Newspaper is supposed to be deliverd to the room daily, but only arrived twice. Fitness center is a joke. Breakfast was ok and it was convenient to my work location. OK, but not... more

Stayed at this hotel near the end of October. In town on business and booked it through Marriott.com. The hotel is back off the main room and is pleasantly quiet. Was close to where I was doing buisness and I simply love the larger room you get at Springhill Suites vs the typical hotel room. The staff was friendly and... more

I booked Springhill Suites because we had stayed at the one on Virginia Beach and absolutely loved it and in another state also. I fully expected them all to be of this quality. Boy, was I sadly mistaken!! I came down with my daughters to move one into college and actually booked this hotel farther away because of what I... more

Stayed at the Springhill Suites using reward points on our way to the Outer Banks. The hotel looks as though it was built in the last 2-3 years, but the staff is doing a terrible job with the upkeep. Upon arrival the elevator smelled like wet dog and was very filthy. The room had a strong odor and the air... more

For a while, this was my place to stay when I went to the Suffolk/Chesapeake area. I stopped staying there. My first stay over a year ago was marked by a nice experience with an attentive staff in a nearly new facility. Over time, though, I watched and felt that apathy had set into the staff, maintenance was suffering, and... more

I stayed at this hotel for five nights while on business. The hotel seems very new. The rooms were very clean and bright. The breakfast provided was average. My only complaint is that when we made our reservation we aranged for a corporate rate but when we checked in they seemed to have forgotten about it. The front desk checked... more

I was very pleased with my recent stay. All the staff I encountered were friendly. The room was clean and spacious for one. If traveling with others keep in mind that the TV is between the bedroom and living areas and there is no door to muffle the volume. The only time I heard noise from other rooms was when... more

This property was perfect for my family of four. We had more than enough room. I received the first floor room as requested. We had a nice breakfast everyday. We could not hear ANY room noise from other guests! Room was clean and hotel close to shopping and restaurant area. Fridge and microwave came in handy for snacks or quick... more

I booked this hotel for 5 days on Priceline ($60/night) and was overall very impressed. The entire hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. When we returned to our room every day, the housekeeping staff had left the room in pristine condition. They even straightened out our junk that was left on the night table! The complimentary breakfast was okay,... more

We were very pleased with our one night stay at Springhill Suites. Hotel is in a nice, quiet spot, but it's right next to a business area with restaurants, etc. Room was clean. Early check-in was no problem. Housekeeping staff was very accomodating and friendly. All in all, a great property for Marriott!! more
