Only 4 floors which is nice. No bathtub but a double sized shower. Comfort L shaped couch plus refrigerator. Bed was comfortable. No windows open to get fresh air. Room can get a little stuffy. The breakfast quality is above average. Over all not bad. Location is good.

My husband and I were quite delighted with this hotel. Staff were very hospitable, room clean and quite ample, large flat screen t.v. King sized bed, sofa bed with coffee table on casters. It was very comfortable and cozy. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was clean, more reasonably priced than regular Hyatt, and had all sorts of nice amenities, including a 24/7 café with some grill items as well as free hot breakfast. The rooms were very spacious, with a sitting area as well as a sleeping area, and the beds were firm and comfortable. My only criticism was of the check-in... More

This was the first time staying at this hotel. It was a good value, convenient location and very clean..Free breakfast offered many choices. Good outdoor areas for relaxing. Staff was so pleasant and helpful. We will stay here again.

I believe this is a relatively new hotel and it is very contemporary. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast and bistro are well stocked and higher quality than similar hotels. The price is reasonable and the location is terrific. There are number of good restaurants and shopping close by. The one draw back is the staff seems... More

I am writing this as my second Hyatt stay. The first one was absolutely superb and amazing. This Hyatt was great with a few shortcomings that I thought could have been prevented. I did not choose this for being close to the airport, rather it was one of the cheapest places around within driving distance to Virginia Beach on Labor... More

We stay in Chesapeake on the night before our arrival in the Outer Banks and decided to try out this hotel this year (vs. Residence Inn which was booked). Very nice accomodations. Hotel is part of retail development and lots of dinner options right outside the door. I did not have the breakfast but my kids did and they were... More

My family was booted out of our reservation due to this establishment overbooking. We were not notified of this matter until a few hours in route of arrival. Who does that? Why were we not given at least a 24 hour notice? We were told that we could stay at another hotel, but it was not comparable to the space... More

I stayed here as an alternative to Virginia Beach, and I was very impressed- This hotel has amazing service with the nicest staff I have ever experienced. They have nice rooms and great breakfast -and I would definitely recommend this hotel- My only complaint is that the AC is complicated and not connected to the thermostat. Waking up in a... More

Although the rooms are the standard Hyatt Place design, this hotel has a decent breakfast and service. Although the indoor pool is not huge, it serves the purpose for smaller children especially on a rainy day. There are many restaurants that are within walking distance of the hotel. You can arrange for a shuttle to the airport as well if... More

Dear jdg1964, Thank-you for taking time out of your busy schedule to review our hotel on Trip Advisor. I'm glad that you enjoyed the breakfast and the service from the staff. Our hotel shuttle is complimentary and it will go in a 5 mile radius of the hotel as well as to Norfolk International Airport. It's great for small groups... More
