We had a wonderful time during our stay. The breakfast is amazing!! The inn keepers are very personable and knowledgeable. If we had a question about the area, they had an answer or would take the time to find out for us. My husband and I can't wait to go back :)

Some guests come for the history. Some to sample Virginia's wines. Some for a romantic weekend getaway. Whatever your plans, the wonderful hosts, Bob and Carolyn, at the Inn at Monticello will help you have the best time ever in Charlottesville, VA. Beautiful rooms. Fabulous breakfasts. A glass of wine at the appropriate hour. Cookies at bedtime! What more could... More

We really enjoyed staying at the Inn. It was a new and different experience for both me and my husband. We liked the aspect of sitting in a living room and just talking. There are no TVs in the room; therefore, you come out and actually have conversations with people. Its very different from an hotel. And I liked it!... More

We have never stayed at a B&B before and took a chance in order to experience historical Charlottesville. WOW, what a treat! Bob and Carolyn, the inn keepers, were extremely kind and helpful. We could not have asked for a better stay. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing get away.

We love it here. I wouldn't stay anywhere else! It's about a 10 minute drive to downtown Charlottesvile and right in the middle of the vineyards...some to your left or right! The hosts are super nice. The breakfast included is always the nicest touch- not to mention they usually have a treat out at night..:) to really enjoy the property,... More

We spent 3 wonderful nights here at New Years. High marks all around. Perfect location for exploring Charlottesville and the historic plantations. Great breakfasts, comfortable and attractively furnished rooms. The Inn is a very inviting place to stay. We will definitely come back.

My wife and I spent two nights at the Inn. Bob and Carolyn are great hosts, helpful with directions to the surround area and restaurant ideas. Our getaway there gave us a much-needed opportunity to recharge and reconnect.

From the moment we drove up until the moment we departed we were welcomed and pampered. With the evening glass of wine, Bob gave restaurant suggestions. (The one we tried lived up to his recommendation.) Our room was bright, comfortable and immaculate, with great reads both in the and just outside the door. And then, the breakfasts--delicious, creative and AMPLE!... More

Greeted at the entrance by Marsha, a gracious and accommodating host; along with Carolyn and Bob, the owners, she makes the stay at the Inn special. A glass of wine in the afternoon, meeting other guests as they arrive, with dinner plans assisted by Marsha, including calling for reservations for us, the start of a relaxing few days in Charlottesville... There were 3 in our party and we each had our own bedroom. The bedrooms and baths were spic and span. My bed was wonderful. I don't know what sheets were on it, but I believe they were the best I've ever slept on. The hosts were welcoming and so helpful, offering suggestions for dinner (which we used and the... More
