My wife and I have stayed in several very nice B&B's over the years, however none of them come as close to perfection in every aspect of their operation as Kathryn and Dan have seemed to accomplish with Foxfield. I know that sometimes people read reviews of B&B's and question who may be writing the review. I've done the same... more

Tucked away in the outskirts of Charlottesville, Virginia, amidst all the greenery and the rolling hills, is a wonderful, little B&B, a true hidden gem. The staff were wonderful, the breakfasts were delicious (and even came with dessert!), and I had memorable conversations with the guests every morning at breakfast. A co-owner of the inn even taught me how to... more

We are already looking forward to returning to the Foxfield Inn. The Inn is in a perfect location: 6 miles from downtown Charlottesville's restaurants, theaters, etc., a 20 minute drive from hiking in the Shenandoah, and right around the corner from several wineries. The Inn itself is modern and spotless. The rooms have every amenity, from very comfortable beds to... more

My wife and I enjoyed a leisurely stay after attending a Christmas Party in Charlottesville, VA. The scenery is breathtaking lined with farms, and vineyard countryside. The owners are very pleasant people who serve great food. I found the other guests at the Inn just as charming and warm as our hosts. I have recommended it to several others and... more

The Foxfield Inn certainly lived up to our high expectations! Our hosts made sure that our weekend was relaxing, fun, and were extremely accommodating. From the charming and comfortable rooms to the delicious breakfasts, we could not ask for more. Many thanks for a great time and we look forward to another visit there soon! more

We booked for 2 nights with only 2hrs notice (not a recommended approach but shows for a start how accommodating Dan and Kathryn are) while traveling around Virginia during a short holiday; we’re English but actually live in The Netherlands My wife and I are known in the family for being a bit ‘selective’ with the Foxfield Inn not failing... more

We went to the Inn on the last weekend John and Mary Pat helped Dan and Kathryn become new hosts. We could not have asked for a better time! Dan and Kathryn plan on NOT changing the flavor of the Inn. YIPPEE!! They allowed our group to have a great time Friday night in the sun room. They are engaging... more

My wife and I dropped the kids with the grandparents and headed to the Foxfield Inn in beautiful Charlottesville, VA for a quiet weekend and to celebrate her birthday. From the moment we arrived, we could not have been treated better. Mary Pat and John made us feel like family from the start. Their Inn is spectacular; meticulously maintained, with... more

We had a great time at the Foxfield Inn. The new owners Dan and Kathryn were super-nice and everything was better than we expected. We loved the jacuzzi tub in the Hunt Country Room (so relaxing) and the breakfasts were excellent. We stayed there as part of a wine country package that included dinner at a nice restaurant in Charlottesville... more

We were very pleased with our stay at the Foxfield Inn. Our room was beautiful, large, and very comfortable. It was obviously that a lot of thought went into decorating the room. The owners were very thoughtful and helpful. They made us feel very welcome, and recommended a wonderful restaurant. The breakfast Mary Pat prepared was outstanding. We would definitely... more
