We totally enjoyed our stay at this clean and quiet KOA. The campground is small and the staff is very friendly. The scenery is beautiful and the camp sites are well spaced. We especially loved the one we chose as being very quiet and peaceful. The bathrooms were clean and well set up. We will definitely return here again to... More

The locale of this campground is quite pretty as it is up in the hills from Charlottesville, however the campground is a bit dated in its features. When we checked in, the person behind the counter could not be any nicer. He was very helpful and it was easy to see that he wanted to ensure our stay was pleasant.... More

I was able to stay at a tent-site with a friend at the Charlottesville KOA in July of 2014. We had a really great experience. Excellent tent-sites available with fire pits and access to water- great scenery and very quiet. The bathroom facilities were very clean, easy to use, etc. We got there late at night, around 10PM when the... More

We stayed here 4th of July weekend. The campground is quiet and the staff is very friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Only observation is the bathrooms are not handicap accessible and should be.

we stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. Peaceful, quiet, great showers etc, nice secluded pool and a pleasant nature walk around the campground. Helpful, friendly staff and easy access to Monticello which was why we checked in here.

We recently spent two nights in a two-room camping cabin. I loved this campground. The campground is located in the woods, in the country. It's relatively small, quiet, and peaceful. It is a bit of a drive to the nearest restaurant, gas station, etc. The campground store is small but carries hot dogs, cereal, bug spray, and other items you... More

We spent one night in a 28 ft trailer on site 47, a "pull through" at a cost of $49.63 including taxes. We were required to pay an extra $8.00 for early check in. The neighboring site was so close that we had to make an effort to keep out of our neighbors way. Our site was not level except... More

Our Kamping Kabin was fairly clean, it was nice to have the tv. We stay at KOA's all the time as we are on a one year trip across America. This KOA is older, it was quiet. The bathrooms could definitely use some updating.

Stayed 2 nights in motorhome over Easter weekend. Really beautiful location that is well maintained, clean, neat and orderly. Especially liked the quietness of this park due to lack of traffic noises as park is relatively isolated. Very friendly, accomodating, and helpful staff. Site size was more than adequate although maneuvaribilty could be improved for larger rigs. We used only... More

We stayed two nights, but could've stayed much longer. Beautiful surroundings, nature hiking trail, plenty of space and privacy, and exceptionally clean. Great staff too. In the mountains with trees and beauty everywhere. Campground has stone covered clean roads and spacious sites. Very close to Monticello, Ashlawn Highland, and Montpelier presidential homes. Highly recommend.
