This campground was pretty nice and very quiet. You can tell the owners take pride in their property- they are working steadily on improvements. While we have stayed at many KOA's this is the first time we stayed in a Deluxe cabin- this cabin was excellent, well worth the extra money. The game room was empty for some reason and... More

OK, I admit I did not stay here overnight. But did take a tour and talked to management staff to check out on facilities. Among some of the KOA I have visisted in the past, this would rank as average. Primary reason was size. It is rather small. But then again some might feel secure in such place. The place... More

We stayed at this KOA for two nights and were very pleased with the site, the surroundings and the very friendly and helpful owners. The bath house and washrooms were totally clean and heated. The sites offered good views into the woods. You can have a fire at your campsite and in the summer there is a pool. Also Pet... More

We stayed here during our two-week, cross-country road trip. It was actually our favorite camping spot. It is secluded, far enough from the highway that you cant hear traffic. The grounds are lovely, with trees all around. The campsites are well-maintained and the laundry facilities are excellent. We also loved their swimming pool, which is tucked in a corner on... More

Beautiful trees and well cared for campground. The staff were quite friendly and helped us get a quite campsite. Stayed up the hill in the trees with our tent. The pool may be dated but was one of the best pools we had been too (in the summer). It was very clean and large/deep. They said were going to be... More

We totally enjoyed our stay at this clean and quiet KOA. The campground is small and the staff is very friendly. The scenery is beautiful and the camp sites are well spaced. We especially loved the one we chose as being very quiet and peaceful. The bathrooms were clean and well set up. We will definitely return here again to... More

The locale of this campground is quite pretty as it is up in the hills from Charlottesville, however the campground is a bit dated in its features. When we checked in, the person behind the counter could not be any nicer. He was very helpful and it was easy to see that he wanted to ensure our stay was pleasant.... More

I was able to stay at a tent-site with a friend at the Charlottesville KOA in July of 2014. We had a really great experience. Excellent tent-sites available with fire pits and access to water- great scenery and very quiet. The bathroom facilities were very clean, easy to use, etc. We got there late at night, around 10PM when the... More

We stayed here 4th of July weekend. The campground is quiet and the staff is very friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Only observation is the bathrooms are not handicap accessible and should be.
