Spent one night there on a getaway to visit Monticello. It is located one exit off the interstate from Monticello - literally a 10 minute drive. It is also very close to downtown Charlottesville which is not to be missed. The downtown mall area is lined with cute shops, great restaurants, and lots of places to sit outdoors and enjoy... More

Stayed for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday-Easter weekend). Location: Right off the I-64 exit. Surroundings: Burger King next door. Gas station, Waffle house and Taco Bell on the opposite of the road and few meters walk. Subway and Food Lion on the next light towards Charlottsville. Downtown Charlottsville: 2.5 miles. 7 minute-drive. Monticello is a 10 minute drive. Ash lawn... More

We stayed here overnight to be near UVA. The rooms were clean, updated and very spacious. The staff was friendly and attentive. They also provided a wonderful breakfast which was included in our stay (eggs, bacon, fruit, cereal, waffles, etc). The price was reasonable and I'd stay again. Don't forget to have breakfast and try the waffles!

The rooms was nice, looked recently updated. I got an accessible room so the bathroom was huge, but I generally don't like these rooms, just feels awkward. Good bed (clean sheets but few holes), hot water, good water pressure. Kid loved the pool but so much chlorine, made my eyes burn and I wasn't even in it. Breakfast was ok,... More

We stopped here while traveling. Completely unplanned. Found them in a hotel shopped discount mag and checking prices on Trip Advisor, too. Seemed to be a good neighborhood and close to the interstate. Rooms are a bit small,, but big enough. The only issue I saw was the lack of attention to difficult to vacuum locations. Toe nails were strewn... More

The location is good, but just know that you get what you pay for. Among the budget hotels, this will be my last choice. There is coffee in the lobby, an indoor pool, laundry, free wi-fi and free breakfast--all the stuff you're used to getting. BUT- the rooms are far smaller than others in the category and somewhat rundown (chipped... More

The Sleep Inn Monticello is a good quality hotel for a reasonable price in the Charlottesville area. The hotel is very convenient to downtown - 5 to 10 minutes to parking near UVA or the restaurant area. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quite spacious. However, this is a Sleep Inn so the in some ways the... More

The lobby was very up to date, pleasant front desk associates. An elevator is literally a stones throw from the desk to get your luggage to your floor. Our room was extremely clean, which is the first thing I always notice. I enjoyed the accent wall, a nice teal and brown leaves. We used the pool/hot tub once and noticed... More

Spent one night. Room was clean and comfortable. Included microwave and refrigerator. Indoor pool on site; did not use. Breakfast was good; eggs and bacon, toast/bagels, make your own waffle, and cereals. Bath towels were a little on the thin side, and did have a lot of light outside of the window from other businesses. All in all, I'd recommend... More

Great hotel close to Monticello. Clean room and bath. There is a dog grooming and hospital next door but we heard nothing from it. The pool was a little cool and the spa a little hot but we did not complain. Breakfast was delicious. The usual fare with scrambled eggs and bacon too!
