Although the Inn at the Crossroads may not be as convenient to Charlottesville as some of the Inns/B&Bs in town, the quick drive (15 minutes) shouldn't dissuade travelers from staying there. We actually liked the easy route to Darden (take the North Campus connector off Rt 29 N), which would not have been as smooth from the downtown area. The... more

This is a charming place with a lot of history. Very relaxing. The breakfast was great. A great location for checking out Charlottesville and area wineries. more

The only BnB in Charlottesville that's actually convenient to everything without being in the city of Charlottesville. The first place in Charlottesville we stayed at had train tracks outside our bedroom window. The second place was in the parking lot of the Marriott. Returned again. Avoid the places in town with their noise and rudeness. We like this place because of its history, connections to Thomas Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt and Franklin Rossevelt! more

Stayed for 10 days in the cottage. Was delightful, very peaceful, nice innkeepers and breakfast was top-notch. more
