This is a very historic B&B just a few miles south of Charlottesville. We stayed in the Innkeepers suite which was the room the innkeepers family lived in and the original tavern room. Jim and Janet were very friendly and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and answered any questions we had about the place.... More

just stayed at the Inn at the Crossroads in Charlottesville Va. The Inn was clean and comfortable. Check in time is at 4:00. We arrived a little early to a locked door. While waiting for the owner to return from work, we noticed the grounds were lacking some work and appeared to be in need of some TLC. Also, there... More

We wanted to get out of the city for my birthday weekend and decided to stay one night in Charlottesville. The Inn at Crossroads was the perfect place to tune out the world and just relax. We stayed in the Summer Kitchen Cottage. This space was not attached to the rest of the inn, so it allowed us to be... More

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Jim and Janet were warm and welcoming (Jim even insisted on carrying our bags in!). The rooms are all lovely (I got to see all of them after others checked out). The bed was comfortable and we appreciated being able to adjust the thermostat in our room. Breakfast was delicious. It was a special occasion... More

Can't say that I have stayed in a 200 year old tavern before. We had a very nice stay as well as a great breakfast. Our room had it's own thermostat so that we could maintain the temperature to our liking. The innkeepers were very accomodating.

My mother and I stayed at Inn at the Crossroads in the winter of 2013. My husband and I stayed there once before in the spring of 2008 and had a great time, which is why I chose this inn again. My mother and I live across the country from one another, so when she comes to Virginia to see... More

My girlfriend <now fiancee> and I stayed in the Tavern Keeper's Suite on the first floor of the Inn. They graciously upgraded us to the suite because I asked about nearby proposal locations, and Jim and Janet wanted our special weekend to be as nice a possible. For that they have my eternal thanks. The grounds were beautiful even in... More

Upon our arrival we were immediately welcomed by Jim and Janet. Jim escorted us to the Sarah Gillocke Room on the third floor. This is probable the smallest room in the inn but sufficient for our needs. The room is attractively decorated and has a fireplace and modern bath. The historic inn is beautifully restored and very clean. Breakfasts were... More

This Inn is the quintessential President __________ slept here location. Except the four presidents that did stop probably had drinks or food at the Tavern, and did not stay at the Inn. It has beautiful rooms with modern bathrooms (showers in many, no baths). It is located very close to UVA and convenient for easy access to Charlottesville functions. The... More

This b & b is charming. We stayed here one time and invited our daughter who lives nearby to join us for breakfast. The cost for a small breakfast was $25. Just stayed in a hotel in town with a full buffet breakfast and the only charged $6 for a guest. Just don't invite family members to breakfast with you... More
