The A/C did not work in the first room. They moved us to a 2nd room and finally got that A/C to work. Breakfast was OK - not great, but ok. Water pressure was great. Hotels was in a kind of wierd location. It is behind a Days Inn. The guy at front desk was nice..

Big rooms, and they had a great breakfast. The elevator was broken when I stayed there, though, and the stairways were dirty. There are better budget options - please see my other Charlottesville reviews.

Our girl trip including nine ladies began with a night stay here before heading on the Amtrak to NYC. What a pleasant experience all around. We had our own little "apartment" off to ourselves. The manager was fabulous, helping with information, printing our tickets, and just being a wealth of information. Highly recommend for an inexpensive stay.

We stopped here because all other motels were full and we was getting hit with a severe thunder storm. So it served our purpose for a night stay to keep out of storm. Room was fairly clean for its age and all furniture was old, some water stains and out of date. Nice large new tv. Pool was closed do... More

Picture it . . . graduation weekend at UVA . . . perfect weather . . . can't say the same about the room. First we started with Room 232. The key two key cards wouldn't work. My husband went down the the front desk. We've all had this happen before, no big deal. After a few minutes of trying... More

We stopped in with no reservations and the front desk clerk was very welcoming. We had checked another property in town and were not prepared to pay the 100/nite they were asking in a nearly empty motel. The rate for the Quality inn was 55 which I thought was pretty much in line with what it is worth. The room... More

I needed a hotel for just 1 night for a friend's graduation in Lynchburg. All the hotels were booked or incredibly overpriced (what you get for the enormous demand for 4 separate graduations happening that weekend - which is what the hotel workers told me...) I had to opt for Charlottesville (1 hr from where my event was at)... for... More

Very bad hotel for the price. Thin walls, hear EVERYTHING in the next room. Television did not work properly. Hotel is mainly for contractors in the area. Noisy at all hours. The whole hotel needs to be remodeled. Add some soundproofing. A little maintenance is in order. Needs a maintenance person to fix things and not just quick fixes.

I'm sure this property started as a Holiday Inn about 50 years ago (1960's). This was my second stay and although I had a different room it had similar problems to the previous stay. The door frames are swollen from moisture so the doors are difficult to open and close. The heaters are ancient although they work if you call... More
