I let someone else reserve this room so I had no idea where we were staying prior to our arrival. I suppose that was my first mistake. My second mistake was not immediately leaving upon arrival. The room was absolutely filthy and all of the furnishings were ratty. It was clear that the hotel management has no interest in providing... more

It's unbelievable what hotels in college towns can get away with. This property, and its sister property, the adjacent Days Inn, should be bulldozed. The exteriors are decrepit and in need of paint. The cement steps are cracked. Railings are loose. Large chunks of cement are missing from the walkways. The front desk clerk was harried when we checked in.... more

Stay at many Quality Inns for business, but this was not up to the standards of most of the Quality Inns. First thing we walked into was the bathroom and there were numerous hairs on the toilet seat and lid. Next we went to room to hook up the computer and not to mention we were in a non-smoking room... more

I have spent a couple of nights at this hotel in the last year or so. It is an old Holiday inn left over from the 70's or 80's. When UVA hosts a sports event or graduation or a parents weekend hotel rooms are often booked a year in advance for the Charlottesville area. If you are comming to town... more

After driving 12 hours, we finally arrived at our destination, the Quality Inn in Charlottesville, VA. All we wanted to do was check in and get some rest. We originally booked two rooms for three nights each as we were visiting the University of Virginia. Upon check in, we assisted my handicapped mother-in-law with her luggage onto an outside elevator... more

We stayed here using points for a free night--if I had spent actual cash I would have definitely asked for my money back. The hotel is dirty, the furnishings are stained and shabby. My in room toiletries (shampoo and lotion) were opened and used. The evening desk clerk was personable and helpful, but despite three clerks working the AM shift... more

After a long day of driving, we made the mistake of checking into this Quality Inn. It was the Friday of the 4th of July weekend. I should have trusted my gut feeling and turned around and left the place as fast as I could escape. I do not know how they can even use the word quality in the... more

I normally do not write reviews but this hotel is compelling. It needs a major updating not only physically but in management. When we first entered the room, it appeared like someone had recently slept on the bed with the TV remote in the middle of the bed and the sheets appeared to be simply retucked. The carpeting was spotted... more

This place was a dive. The place was shabby, there were three cigarette burn marks on the sink, the bath tub had numerous cigarette burn marks, as well as one on the blanket and one on the curtains. The light aove the sink was burning out and kept flickering when turned on. Not just a slick flicker so I know... more

I had to write because this hotel is ranked BELOW the Red Roof Inn on Trip Advisor. If these two are your choices, the Quality Inn is a MUCH better option. When I stayed at the Quality Inn it was a bit run-down, but clean. The Red Roof Inn is run-down and dirty. I didn't realize the Quality Inn takes... more
