We paid 91$(Hotwire) for a 6/20/09 stay, 2 double beds, room 322....... Both mattresses needed replacement, burns in carpet, sink handle came off in hand, poor water pressure, A/C can only be adjusted to 68 degrees, yet there are down comforters on the beds when its 92 outside in June. Wow, I can't imagine thinner walls. But, the place was super clean, beautiful, cozy, pretty and on the main drag. We enjoyed Monticello and Monpelier. Doubletree Charlottesville is fairly conveniently located in the suburbs of the city. It is 10-15 minutes from historical downtown and about the same distance from the University of Virgnia (UVA).
