This hotel was in a perfect location - walking distance to both the university and Downtown Mall. The Hampton Inn and Suites is centrally located to a lot of Charlottesville. My beau and I stayed here over the 4th of July 08- great stay. A little walk to the ped mall - we are early 30s and we walked back after delicious meals at Ten, try the escolar- deliciousness! Was @ UVA hospital. My wife needed to get me some meds after my surgery. The shuttle man drove her to CVS and went back for her after he did two more shuttle trips. Just returned from a weekend at the Hampton Inn and had a very pleasant experience. Rooms were very comfortable and the staff was very helpful. This hotel was centrally located and used the hotel shuttle several times. I don't usually stay at Hamptons but will from now on. more
