My husband and I always use Priceline to book our hotels. To be honest, I was a little concerned when the highest star rating for hotels in Charlottesville was 3 stars - but I was pleasantly surprised by the value we received at the Residence Inn! For only $60 a night, the Residence Inn was incredibly spacious, clean, had nice... more

We needed to travel to Charlottesville for a wedding and my son and his wife have a dog. She was pregnant as well. Most hotels that allow dogs are places people wouldn't want to stay, unless you want to spend a lot of money. And yes, they usualIy smell like dog. I loved this hotel. We got a great AARP... more

I went to Charlottesville for a week-long business trip and brought my spouse and dog along. I love the fact that the Residence Inn (RI) is pet-friendly. They front desk even gave us a magnet that said "Pet in Room" to let housekeeping know not to disturb our pooch! The location of the RI is very good. It is just... more

I had looked at some of the other mixed reviews for this place prior to booking, but was glad that I didn't pay attention to the bellyachers. This hotel was an excellent stay. Having gone to school in the area, I know that some of the places can run a little high for central Virginia standards. That being said, this... more

Some of the reviews of this place worried me a little but I found a great rate so I went ahead and booked it for a 2-night stay. I did not notice any strange smells in the hotel. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and of about the same quality as the other Resident Inns at... more

Entering the room, a strong moldy smell was noticed. This smell remained in the room during the entire stay. After you're in the room for awhile, you don't notice it so much, but every time you walk into the room, the first thing you notice is the bad smell. A few minutes after checking into the room, I lifted the... more

Got a weekend rate for a 1 BR suite for $123 a night. For the weekend I was in C-ville, this was the nicest hotel that was close to UVA that had availability. I’ve stay at lots of Marriotts, but not in Residence Inns, I was a bit disappointed. The room was plain and simple. There was free internet in... more

My family and I stayed at the Residence Inn the entire summer. We had mold growing in our hotel room, we had to fight for daily room service, and our room attendant was extremely rude. Nearly each week my husband and I found ourselves trying to track down towels and sheets so that we could shower and sleep after a long... more

I was very impressed with the service and location at the Residence Inn. I was able to walk to a University of Virginia Football Game and the staff remembered me by name every night I came back to the hotel after working. more
