5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Was in Charlottesville for one night and wanted to stay somewhere unique. The Inn at Court Square was exactly what we were looking for. This beautiful house was restored back to it original glory with antiques abound. (Note I am not an antiques person by any means but it just fit the ambiance of the area.) The staff were marvelous.... More

Cluttered, but clean. Owner friendly & helpful, but we were disappointed in the value. $80 more than the inn the night before in Lexington for smaller room & fewer amenities. None of the extras I have enjoyed in other B&B such as evening cheese/wine reception. Breakfast portions were "sample" sizes.

Passing through Charlottesville, we were happy we found this little gem of a B&B. It is a restored historic house beautifully appointed with period antiques located just two blocks from the pleasant pedestrian mall located in the downtown historic district. There are numerous al fresco dining options just steps from the door. The University is a 15 minute walk or... More

This was our third stay at the Inn at Court Square - need I say more? The grand old house, decor, staff, and the location keep pulling us back. This time we stayed in the Stonewall Jackson room, a bright, tastefully decorated room with a four-poster king bed on the second floor in the front of the house overlooking the... More

The owner is professional, kind, and provided us a free upgrade once arrived. The location could not be better--a few minutes walk from the historic mall but just far enough away to ensure a peaceful night's sleep. Beautiful room, bed, and coffee in to-go cups as we left that morning. She thinks of everything!

My wife and I spent a minimoon there the weekend after our wedding in late spring. The service was immaculate, the rooms were extremely clean. We were given a complimentary upgrade upon arrival, which set a wonderful tone for the rest of our stay. It's affordable, it's in a very quiet part of town and yet very close to the... More

One of the oldest buildings in Charlottesville wityh a special charm often lost in newer larger corporate properties. They also serve breakfast and lunch which you can eat on their terrace or in a charming dining area. It is a welcoming place with a welcoming staff

We were really looking forward to staying at this historic inn when planning our trip to Charlottesville. We chose this place due to its central location and historic roots. We stayed in the Edward Butler room. Some of the furniture was beautiful, but the chairs were worn out. The room was unnecessarily crowded with furniture, making it difficult to move... More

Just enjoyed a brief stay at the Inn at Court Square. Quietly run, unpretentious, yet full of genuine charm and warmth, the Inn is old fashioned hospitality at its best. If you want to touch the past in the historic city of Charlottesville, this is a great base - very centrally located with parking behind, and a warm smile, complimentary... More

Candace has created a warm and welcoming inn that honors its history, yet is comfortable for today. She has beautifully restored the home, paying attention to the large and small details, and period-appropriate furniture only adds to the experience. A variety of rooms and rates will appeal to many budgets; while I was intending to stay in the lowest-priced room,... More
