After leaving my night mare hotel I went to this one. The person at the front desk was not professionally dress and the back counter was more like people in high school not ready for business customers. There was no parking for people with trailers. Breakfast was terrible and most of the food was left overs from the day before.... more
We reserved our room at 800.4CHOICE. Explained we need first floor for medical reasons. Received confirmation (no room number on it), which is normal practice. We found the front desk clerk to be very pleasant and she even followed up with a call to our room... more

It seemed that everything was booked that night. When I arrived, I heard that there was a Rod Stewart concert in town.... more
During the past 2 years we have tried just about all the hotels near the UVA campus, and I have to say this is my favorite so far. It is located 2 miles north of center grounds on Rt. 29, 0.2 miles north of Barracks Road Shopping Center and opposite the Red Lobster. The building is 4 storeys high. Access... more
Note: there are two Comfort Inns in Charlottesville. This is the one on Route 29, not the one just off of Interstate 64. This property is rather hidden, which means it is quiet, despite being in a busy area of town. Other than that, there is not much to recommend it. It's getting old; the rooms are well-worn and small.... more
