Have stayed here many times and have always been pleased. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and comfy. Would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area. more

After leaving my night mare hotel I went to this one. The person at the front desk was not professionally dress and the back counter was more like people in high school not ready for business customers. There was no parking for people with trailers. Breakfast was terrible and most of the food was left overs from the day before.... more

We reserved our room at 800.4CHOICE. Explained we need first floor for medical reasons. Received confirmation (no room number on it), which is normal practice. When we arrived we were told we had a room on the 3rd floor. We were upset because my husband has a heavy oxygen machine we need to carry with us for his use at... more

We stayed one night here on our way to Williamsburg. The clerk at Check-in seemed a bit irritable at first, but quickly warmed up. The room was very clean. The pillows kept going flat all night, so they constantly had to be flipped over. Nice stay, otherwise. Nothing too fancy, though. more

When we arrived at the Comfort Inn we found it to be tucked in behind a Canes Chicken Restaurant. Parking on the left side was fine, but the parking on the right side had many construction trucks parked there. We found the front desk clerk to be very pleasant and she even followed up with a call to our room... more

I am just back from a trip to Shenandoah National Park and had a stop over in Charlottesville, VA. I planned the trip at the last minute so I felt lucky to get a hotel reservation at all. It seemed that everything was booked that night. When I arrived, I heard that there was a Rod Stewart concert in town.... more

During the past 2 years we have tried just about all the hotels near the UVA campus, and I have to say this is my favorite so far. It is located 2 miles north of center grounds on Rt. 29, 0.2 miles north of Barracks Road Shopping Center and opposite the Red Lobster. The building is 4 storeys high. Access... more

Note: there are two Comfort Inns in Charlottesville. This is the one on Route 29, not the one just off of Interstate 64. This property is rather hidden, which means it is quiet, despite being in a busy area of town. Other than that, there is not much to recommend it. It's getting old; the rooms are well-worn and small.... more
