We only stayed one night and would love to stay longer. On our three week road trip this is the best hotel so far. Nice roms, nice atmosphere and staff seem to have fun together which gives a good atmosphere as guest. The complimentary meals, fruit and cakes are very good. Will definetly come back when in area.

Great staff. Great location. Comfortable room. Free parking. Good coffee at breakfast. Wine and cheese evenings. Homemade cookies everyday. And at a very reasonable price point. Had a wonderful time, and will definitely be back!

We stayed here with our family and closest friends for our wedding weekend in Charlottesville. Wedding was at Ash Lawn Highland, so it was nice that the venue was only 10-15 minutes away. The B&B is very quaint, a little older, but definitely VERY charming and perfect for what we needed. Very homey feel, and it's nice that the farmer's... More

This is one of my favorite places to stay in Charlottesville. Rooms are well appointed and the public space allows for curling up and reading a good book. The location is right next to a train track and love to hear the train coming through. If you are there on Saturday morning the Farmers Market is right at your front... More

This is a lovely Inn right in the heart of the pedestrian mall in Charlottesville -- it's a short two block walk to the mall, where there are tons of shops and restaurants. We stayed in one of the rooms on the third floor of the main house and loved it (Room 11) -- good sized rooms and bathrooms for... More

We booked this Inn to go and spend a week with our daughter who lives in central Charlottesville. Upon arrival we were offered a free upgrade from room 4 to room 7. We chose room 7 and and I would say the only downside was that occasionally the sound of the train at night would awaken us. The service and... More

we had a great experience at 200 South Street. We stayed in the front room, which was beautifully furnished, roomy and very comfortable. Noise, including from the train, was not an issue. The host was extremely helpful with directions and restaurant tips. Breakfast is continental, but the baked goods were delicious and ample. And the cookies in the afternoon were... More

We had an excellent first time in Charlottesville. This was such a beautiful and quant place. It had a historic feel with old style charm as well as very clean amenities. The staff is very friendly. They have breakfast in the mornings with delicious fresh baked breads (banana bread, blueberry bread, etc)., homemade granola and cereals as well as yogurts... More

This was an overnight stay on our way back North. We decided to stop and do some sightseeing in Charlottesville and Monticello. Upon arrival we were greeted by the delightful aroma of freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies. The staff was friendly, and very helpful. Our room was spacious - we had a suite to accommodate our son, who was traveling with... More

We stayed at 200 South Street this past week, and enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and friendly, continental breakfasts good, nice wine and cheese in late afternoon. Staff were very friendly and helpful in suggesting restaurants, places to visit. Everything worked: plumbing, HVAC, WiFi, etc. A few quibbles: The furnishings blur the line between "antique" and "rickety." We... More
