We had a very pleasant stay at this B&B. Greg and Donna were very friendly, as well as their kids and their cat. The rooms are kept very clean, and the breakfast is amazing! Will definitely come back here if we are in the area again :)

My wife and I stopped at the Fig Street Inn on our way to North Carolina and again on our way back. The inn is beautifully restored with a huge porch and common room on the first floor. All the rooms have private baths. The rooms are immaculate with high-end touches. Greg and Donna are wonderful hosts. We arrived late... More

This was our first Bed and Breakfast experience and we loved it. We stayed here one night while attending a wedding at the Marina right down the street. The owners were extremely welcoming. We stayed in the bedroom on the first floor and it was very well appointed. The room had way more items (toiletries, chocolates, accessories) than any hotel... More

The room we had (Chesapeake room) was very comfortable and wonderfully old-fashioned. The old-style bed required a step stool to get onto, but the new mattress was extremely comfortable. A ceiling fan and windows that opened provided the perfect sleep environment. Both the room and the bathroom were well decorated provided all we needed. Perfect room for a couple. The... More

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Fig Street Inn. The room was very nice, and the entire house was so comfortable. We enjoyed the many extra little things that we don't usually see at a B&B. Donna and Greg have an especially warm place--it was welcoming like a lived-in home, and they were so accommodating. Also,... More

We thank you for taking the time to write a review, and we are thrilled you enjoyed your stay in our Chesapeake Room - it is our most popular (and my personal favorite). Thank you for noticing all the extras. It really is what sets us apart from other places. We've been innkeepers for over 10 years now and we... More

Donna and Greg are wonderful hosts. The room (Boston Harbor Suite) was beautiful and very comfortable. My wife and I stayed there for our anniversary and couldn't have been happier with our choice to stay there. We look forward to going back and staying there again. If you are going to Cape Charles stay at the Fig Street Inn, you... More

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend. It was perfect. Walking distance to beach and the main street. The service was above and beyond. Everything was super clean and the owners were so welcoming and sweet. Not to mention their breakfast was great, the muffins are in a category of their own. Will definitely go back.

Welcome to the b&b club! We get lots of newbies and they are often surprised about how modern and updated we are. Thank you for each and every one of your beautifully amazing compliments. We take great pride in what we do, and we love that it comes across to our guests. You are welcome anytime! More

This b&b is perfect. Donna & Greg are very welcoming and helpful. We stayed in the suite and it was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and very clean, but from what I could see, all the rooms were gorgeous. The bed was amazing- the sheets were to die for and the mattress made me want to stay in bed all day! In... More

We are biased, but we love our mattresses and sheets too. Most people do want to explore Cape Charles, but we also have more than enough movies for guests to enjoy on their flat screen satellite TV in the privacy of their room. We are all about choice so we strive to provide all those things (like beach towels and... More

Beautiful restoration of historic home provides comfortable and charming accommodations. Enjoyed the lovely Christmas decorations and sitting by the tree and fireplace. Friendly, helpful owners and really delicious breakfast served to you on large antique dining set! Stayed there twice with 3rd trip planned.

Really sweet guests who stayed with us a number of times this winter on their Cape Charles house hunt. We enjoyed seeing them each and every time, and talking real estate. We wish them all the best in finding that perfect retirement home! More

We found the Fig Street Inn to be very accommodating for our Old Antarctic Explorers reunion. The rooms were large and well appointed and the food delicious. Donna and Greg were most helpful and graciously allowed our Cape Charles friends to join us for a farewell breakfast.

These were some of our most fascinating guests in all our years of innkeeping - how many people have been on an Antarctic Expedition in their lifetimes, and we had 4 of them sitting at our breakfast table reminiscing about their adventures. We are honored they chose our inn, and we feel very fortunate to have met them and hear... More
