Sorry Crimson Inn, but our stay was awful. Here is why: 1. We asked for a quiet room when we made the reservation and again when we registered, but were put in a room between two sets of guys who worked 3rd shift then came back to their rooms hooting, hollering and partying at 6am. There were a over a... More

The Crimson Inn is located in an unassuming, historic building in the heart of Bridgewater. Nice to get away from the interstate. A really good value. Spacious, mostly updated room, with nice kitchen/dining room combo. Clean with comfortable beds and good shower. Charming town with places to eat within walking distance. Heavy on pizza eateries due to proximity to college.... More

Visited a good friend in the small town of Bridgewater VA, right off I-81 in the Shenandoah Valley, and stayed at the Crimson Inn. This inn caters to folks who come to town for a week or more (contractors, workmen, builders, etc.) and the rooms are designed as such. Very large rooms, more like a suite with a kitchen table,... The Crimson Inn was a very nice surprise considering it is the only Hotel closest to Bridgewater College. Our daughter was spending the weekend on campus during Open House and my husband and I stayed at the Crimson. We arrived later than the office was open so we called and were given our room over the phone and the door... More

This was our 2nd stay. We encountered a problem this time with our refrigerator due to a seasonal insect inside. The actual owner of the hotel did the cleaning. Outstanding service! We'll come again!!

My husband and I stayed at the Crimson Inn while our daughter was attending a weekend event at JMU. The location to JMU was great, the staff was very helpful we got in town a couple hours before the 3pm check in and our room was ready when we got there. I was amazed at the room it was so... More

We stayed at the Crimson Inn during graduation weekend at JMU in Harrisonburg. The room was very clean, and very quiet; we never heard any noise from the other guests! Beds were very comfortable. I slept very well. My only complaint was that the trash was never emptied. The beds were made up and the towels refreshed, so I dont... More

In years I think it's the best value I ever had staying at a hotel or motel. It smells good coming in, everything was very clean, all the basic cookware you need to cook for a few days. The service was awesome, the guy even told me which golf course was better in the area. They even brought a baby... More

I was pleased to see how clean the room was and the fact that NO bedspreads were used. Great idea!! The beds were most comfortable and the linens smelled crisp and clean. Very nice bathroom with all the ammenitiies. The first thing they gave us was the Wi-Fi code - pretty cool.

This is the best hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. The room was very nice, the bed was amazing. It includes everything you need for an overnight stay. It was very clean, staff was super friendly. It's a little close to the road for my liking but that's my only negative thing to say. If you're ever staying... More
