We've stayed at this hotel a couple of times, and also at the Holiday Inn across the street. This one is, of course, much newer, and so therefore a little more elegant. The Holiday Inn has a pool, which this does not. During football weekends, it's darn near impossible to get a room here unless you're part of a reunion.... More

The hotel was located on campus which was great for visiting our grandson. Room was large and beds were comfortable. The plus was the restaurant. We wanted an upscale restaurant that was quite with good food - wonderful steaks, rack of lamb and home made ice creams. If you want to stay in Blacksburg, this is the place.

As a frequent visitor to Blacksburg we usually stay at the Microtel, which is an incredible value with incredible sheets but a drive away. We splurged and stayed at Virginia Inn, very nice ambiance but the sheets were like sleeping in the sand, full of pills, and they ran out of Sunday paper to buy, so I had to walk... More

I stayed at the Inn at Virginia Tech for the first time this week - two nights. I do think they could come up with a more impressive name, but the hotel is wonderful. For about $110/night (AARP rate), I had a room with a pastoral view, very comfortable bed, and free wireless. Access to the campus could not be... More

We stayed at the Inn while settling in our student. The room was very attractive ,well equipped, and spotless. We also appreciated the very large bathroom. They have a very good Sunday brunch in the hotel. Recommend this hotel highly. One little issue of note is that it was impossible to get cell phone reception in our room. Had to... More

We were very happy with The Inn at Virginia Tech. I haven't been to Blacksburg in years and was very impressed when I pulled into this hotel. It is a beautiful, modern, immaculately maintained hotel. The rooms are clean and tastefully done. The location is superb and within walking distance of VT's drill field. The Staff was very helpful and... More

I was on campus for an interview and I stayed at the brand-new Inn. It is a lovely addition to a fine campus. The room was large, full of light and with a nice view. Beds were comfortable. The room was quite clean and quiet (I am a very light sleeper). I did not pay for my stay, but I... More

We stayed at The Inn at Virginia Tech during the college's veterinary school open house. The hotel was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Very easy access to VA Tech main campus - a one minute drive, or put on your walking shoes and get there in five minutes. Restaurant pricey, so we didn't eat there, but there are tons of great... As a business traveler, I have *high* expectations when I stay in a hotel and the Inn at Virginia Tech was great! The staff was welcoming and helpful- they gave me directions to one of the local eateries. The hotel was booked full but still remained quiet in the evenings. The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet. There was plenty... More

I stayed at the "Inn" whilst visiting a Blacksburg company for work and found it to be a very nicely designed hotel. The rooms have great facilities - and a wealth of TV channels - as well as free WiFi. Perhaps the only downsides are the location of some of the rooms 'below ground' (although I didn't stay on that... More
