This is one of the only reasonable hotels that I found, directly, in town. All the rest were at least (6) miles further away from the University. The staff greeted us, immediately when we arrived. They were very informative with regards to offerings of the local surroundings, i.e. restaurants, grocery stores, places of interest, etc. The rooms were, as promised,... More

My wife and I stayed here for a quick layover from our road trip through VA and WV. We were shocked that the price was just $55 for the two of us. Our room was quiet and clean, it had a microwave, mini-refrigerator, free Internet, and great water pressure (something we rarely find in a lower-priced motel). The owner was... More

Well, this is not a five star hotel you are looking at, but for the price this is great place to stay. I've been checking a numbers of motels in Blacksburg and most of them were asking 100+ for a night. Rooms were clean, wifi was pretty fast, and I only paid about 56 dollar for it. I will definitely... More

Great location at an affordable price. I stayed there for two weeks and I was pretty satisfied with the service. My room was always clean. No problems with bed bugs!! Owners are very helpful and friendly. If I ever need a hotel in Blacksburg again, I’d not hesitate to stay there again.

This is a great hotel. I just stayed there with my boyfriend because it was the best value in the town (50$ a night instead of >$100 like all the other hotels in Blacksburg) and we had a wonderful stay. The owners (a husband and wife) are incredibly nice (and in reply to a previous poster, they speak English perfectly... More

This place seems to be a good safe place to stay in Blacksburg. It's right off the main road and the hotel staff are fairly friendly. I read a review that said there was poor Internet access, but I had no problems. It sounds like maybe they are under new management? Bathroom seems to be super clean, and no noisy... More

Driving by you maybe turned off by some of the old paint on the outside of the building, however if you are not too concerned with outside appearances this hotel is really not "run down". This is no holiday inn or best western, however if you are looking for a simple, economical place to stay this would be the place... More

This is a great place to stay if you're simply looking for a hotel to sleep, shower and change. We have season tickets to Virginia Tech Football Games and always stay here. The owner and his wife are very nice, the rooms are always clean, and, unlike most all hotels in Blacksburg, you can actually walk to downtown; it's about... More
