its not a five star hotel but it is a five star experience. Pricey but not any more than the other hotels in its class. You have to give kudos to a well run business that really knows how to take care of its customers/travelers ... even if it means upping the competition for hotel rooms during prime weekends :)... My son and I stayed here while visiting friends in nearby Radford. The motel is all non-smoking. The motel supplied a full-size crib upon request at no extra charge. Nice spacious suites, modern hotel and furnishings, comfortable. I've never used the Hawthorn brand before, definitely would again. Our group negotiated a really good group rate, too. More

Great hotel. Clean, spacious rooms. Great value. Breakfast was great although crowded. I must have gone downstairs when everybody else did. Quiet place, a mile from Starbucks and around the corner from Tech. I will stay here again when I return. More
