After a long drive on Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway, this was a wonderful B & B to end up at. Great views, quiet, with many things to do in area (hiking, fishing, picnics, antiques, etc). We absolutely love the Inn. The view of the Peaks of Otter and the land surrounding the Inn is a must see. Ellen, the Owner, works hard at seeing that everything you could possibly need or want is there for you to enjoy !! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this modern B and B near the Blue Ridge Parkway. Lovely mountain views and room was very, very clean, comfortable and cutely decorated with lots of thoughtful touches. Never fully knowing what to expect we came away with a desire to return if only for the company of John and Ellen. She is warm and friendly and he is a hoot. I recently stayed at the Vanquility Acres Inn with my husband and a group of friends. This was our third year in a row and I can't imagine not returning! We just returned from our third annual visit to the Vanquility Inn in Bedford, Va. We chose this Inn for a reunion of friends from N.C and Conn. We live in Norfolk.
