First a few nice things: The staff was nice and there were extra pillows. The bed was sufficiently comfortable. The Mexican restaurant next door has lovely margaritas and decent food. The free continental breakfast was very basic and no-frills but adequate.
And now the rest: The bathroom was in need of repair and there was mold around the tub and cobwebs on the ceiling. The bathroom door was starting to break. I dropped something behind the dresser and when I moved looked back there I found a collection of crumbs, dust-bunnies, lost key cards, brochures, etc.
When I arrived in the room the AC was off and it was SO hot. It took hours for the room to adequately cool off. I put some water in the mini-fridge and it did not cool it at all.
The internet was free but rain painfully slow.
I am not familiar with other motels in Bedford, but surely there are better options than this. I suppose the price is the main draw to this hotel, but I would only...
