My husband and I stayed at the "Sky Chalet" in Basye, VA to celebrate our anniversary. We rented one of their mountain view suite rooms that included a living area. Agree with the other post, that the views are great. But the amenities are not so great. We never saw the innkeeprs, which could be good or bad, but many things were also not as they seemed when talking to the staff before deciding to stay there. We really enjoyed our stay at Sky Chalet. The views from the property are beautiful, and the room was very nice. We stayed in the "honeymoon-type" suite, complete with a small private deck, a jacuzzi for two, and a faux fireplace.
