The check-in office is located on route 263 (looks like a trailer) where you get a map showing how to drive down into the valley to find your unit. The three one bedroom unit buildings show their age and are a bit cramped for more than a couple but ours was clean and win our appreciation for being very dog... More

The Pines Aspen East condos we stayed at are right next to the ski lift for Bryce Resort. Very nice looking area. Well kept grounds. Having access to a small pool is nice to cool off. The restaurant and lounge on the grounds are essentially the same place with the exact same menu even though the binders in the suites... More

Well, where do I start.....the TV in the living room was like watching snow, the TV in the bedroom was older than old and it had a white line at the top of the picture and made a loud crackling sound about every 3 minutes. The 2nd bed in the bedroom was broken. The door to the closet was off... More

The pines is located within Bryce Resort with plenty of amenities, if you're not planning on going anywhere. If you like skiing or golf you are in the right place. However, if you enjoy history or geology, you are also in the right place. There are several caverns to visit, one within a 15 minute drive and several within an... More

We stayed in a unit for a few days after a wedding. The unit was nice and we found several activities locally including caverns, hiking and an orchard. My wife and I very much enjoyed our time there. There is a small grocery down the road that was adequate and we had no trouble finding wonderful local restaurants in the... More

The Pines is a great resort community with quick access to the Bryce Resort which has tonnes of activities - for all seasons. For the Summer, we were able to enjoy mountain tubing, zip lines and mountain bikes. There was also a Bryce Fest which provided loads of fun for kids. Fireworks at night were the cherry on top. The... More

There wasn't really anything for kids to do except mountain biking. So they were pretty much bored out of their minds. There was little to no wi-fi service and if there was, it was locked. The units were good but there could be some more lighting. I was also pretty bored and there is a long drive to get out... More

What a great place to spend a week. The location and chalet were perfect. There were only 4 of us(2 couples) but there was definitely room for 4 more people. The kitchen was well equipped and perfect for cooking, which is something we enjoy. The Deck was great place for having late afternoon or early evening cocktails. The wood burning... More

We traded a timeshare to stay here, planning for some R&R and to catch the Nascar race in Martinsville. We were here during hurricane Sandy and were left on our own. There were six adults and one roll of toilet paper. We had to go out during the storm and buy our own because housekeeping never got back to us.... More

We chose The Pines because we were looking for a quiet place to get away from it all and relax. And this was exactly what we found at the Pines! I was very nervous about the resort after reading all the terrible reviews. But I was very pleasantly surprised to find that it was exactly what we were looking for.... More
