My husband and I spend two nights at the Shearer Hill Farm B&B and it was a lovely, relaxing experience. Our apartment was cozy, clean, and comfortable. We were able to watch Bill, Patti, and gang gather the maple sap and then watch Bill boil the sap to make the maple syrup. He was so patient as he explained the... More

We returned home today from our second trip to this farm, and we miss it already. Patti and Bill again went out of there way to make us feel at home and so did the cows! My daughter wanted to bring one home:) If you are looking for a clean and comfortable place to relax and have some quality family... More

Patti and Bill are very warm and welcoming, and make you feel like part of the family. Communal breakfast was a fun experience, and the baked apples a la mode were delicious. The B&B is homey, casual, and quaint, more like a beloved relative's home than a business. Definitely buy some of their homemade raspberry jam and maple syrup, too-... More

Shearer Hill Farm Bed & Breakfast is the perfect location for a weekend away. Patti & Bill are beyond welcoming and make for a memorable stay. Location is close to town/Mt. Snow, with several options for restaurants and winter activities. The breakfast of baked apples, eggs, pancakes and homemade granola were all delicious. This is the perfect location for a... More

Stayed at the Shearer Farm Bed and Breakfast and my stay was great. From the moment I arrived I felt at home with Patti and Bill the innkeepers. Patti welcomed me with "Welcome home." I gotta say I felt as if I was arriving home. The inn is tucked away on a nice quiet country road not far from Mt.Snow ski... More

This review is overdue! My husband and I spent three lovely nights at Shearer Hill Farm Bed & Breakfast in mid-October during the foliage season. The first comment I would make about this bed and breakfast is that it is a joyful place. We were greeted warmly by Patti and made to feel at home immediately. Our room was large,... More

The accomodation was really nice. The room was clean and the owners really nice. For breakfast baked apples and frensh toast was served. However, if you do not plan on just hiking through the national forest there's not much to do. Wilmington itself is at a remote location.

What a lovely visit we had at this B&B. The setting was just lovely in early October with the trees turning golden. Patti greeted us on our arrival and I am a hugger which I believe Patti must have sensed this and gave me a big hug. We found our room to be very nice, clean, cozy and the bed was very... More

If you're looking for a peaceful place in the in the southern Vermont countryside this is it! There's no internet access in the carriage house (There's wifi in the main house), and we couldn't get cell service, but it was exactly what we were looking for. The rooms are clean and comfortable, especially the bed. The room we stayed in... More

My husband and I, plus our 4 young children stayed for 2 nights at Shearer Hill B&B earlier this week and loved every minute of it. The moment we drove in the driveway we were greeted by our hosts Patti and Bill and were all made to feel so welcome. Our rooms were beautifully made up with clean, comfortable bedding... More
