Wife and I returned for a second time to the Nutmeg Inn. New owners this year, same cozy inn. Wood fire in both our room and central living room were very nice for cold nights. Owners and staff very friendly especially manager Wendy. She is a local who can recommend good dinning and activities. Inn is just west of Wilmington... More

The Nutmeg is a great find! Less than a mile from the pretty center of Wilmington, this inn is attractive, cozy, well furnished, and relaxing. Fireplace in the room was great. Staff and owner were very friendly and attentive. Included breakfast delicious. Highly, highly recommend.

The room 4 was charming and cozy very private . Fireplace in the room. Quality comforts at a great price. Several social parlors and friendly guests and environment. Breakfast is incredible the menu varies but if you have a chance get either the French toast or the Creamed Mushrooms over poached eggs. The owners are gracious and the staff are... More

We have stayed at several hotels in the Mount Snow area, they all have pros and cons. The pros for Nutmeg are that it is 2 minutes from Wilmington Center, stores and restaurants, (which we preferred versus being close to the mountain) and only 20 minutes from Mount Snow; the room was a nice size and there are several other... This is a totally charming little inn. It's very typically New England and its wonderful inherent coziness and warmth is added to by its delightful owners Shelly and Paul as well as by its manager Wendy all of whom couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. We stayed there in December and just loved absolutely everything about it including the... More

Quintessential cozy bed and breakfast. Perfect location. Wonderful home cooked breakfast with a menu! Delish coffee, juice, frittata, jam and peanut butter or apple butter with toast to hold you over until cooked to order meal arrived. The innkeepers were darling. We have a five week old. They allowed us to use the refrigerator and a perfect king room tucked... More

We went to the BEST--> B and B EVER! The Nutmeg Inn in Wilmington, VT. The day after Thanksgiving this year. My Wife and I and her Sister and Brother-in-law. We had such a great time, we are already planning our next trip up. Kathy and Shelly and Paul were the nicest Host I have ever had the pleasure of... More

Preface: it's arguable that this Inn is worthy of five stars if judged relative to the inns in the immediate area and the service provided. I gave it four because of those strengths, but also because there are more luxurious inns in Vermont (which are much, much more costly as well) that are really in the five-star category... I decided... More

I found this B and B because I wanted something not too far from Brattleboro, VT. I also wanted a two person whirl pool tub and a fireplace in the room, which The Nutmeg was able to accommodate! My girlfriend and I loved the house, the room, the host (Wendy), and the breakfast. We highly recommend this inn and look... More

This inn, under new ownership, is just a little beauty, located along the Vermont 100. My room was just perfect, though it is quite a trek up a steep staircase (typical of old inns in the area). I would like to acknowledge Wendy, with whom I made an instant friendship. She could not have been more cordial or helpful. I... More
