I visited The Nutmeg last year, and enjoyed it very much. I returned this year for a weekend of skiing, and it was even better. They reorganized the downstairs to create a number of cozy rooms. This year I enjoyed their Saturday evening dinner, which was absolutely amazing - high quality, interesting dishes with excellent service. In fact, the entire... More

I stayed here earlier in the year with another couple. We had the room that had two separate rooms and one common living area. The experience was absolutely great the staff was very nice and a pleasure to talk to. If you are ever going somewhere with another couple and want to stay at a bed and breakfast this is... More

The staff is wonderful, very friendly and hospitable. We switched rooms after the first night to a larger suite. The first room (4) was very cozy, but we wanted to spread out a bit so we moved to 5B. All rooms are very clean and well kept. Overall I would definitely recommend the Nutmeg to others, family or couples!!

We visited The Nutmeg for 3 nights, as my husband had a PSIA training at Mt. Snow. We wanted to stay somewhere more intimate. It was perfect. We stayed in room 10, right off the kitchen. We had a sizable bedroom, sitting room with fireplace and door out to yard. The bathroom was spacious, with a 2 person whirlpool tub.... More

There was a mix up when we booked online and had 2 reservations. Shelly was very nice and straightened out the situation without batting an eye. The Inn has some character, old farm house charm. Wood burning fireplace in our room that was all prepped for us each morning. Plenty of wood to burn from the wood shed. The house... More

spent 2 nights last weekend. Very friendly staff, always there to accommodate. Its an older home and looks it in some places but you cannot beat the ambience. Comfortable rooms, cozy common areas and a delicious breakfast in the morning.

Great stay for one night. Bed in front room number 1 was hard; need to update, but breakfast was first-class made-to-order and owners lovely. We made some new friends over breakfast and enjoyed little town nearby. Very easy access to main road and town.

We had booked our room for fall many months ago. The day before our arrival, my small shih tzu got a corneal ulcer causing her to be seen by a specialist, have 7 differnet medications. We could not leave her with anyone. Called the Nutmeg and they were able to switch rooms so we could have a "pet friendly" room.... More

Our stay at this inn was way too brief given the amazing service we received and the lovely setting. The small plates served at dinnertime were delicious, and they brought them too us as we soaked up the last bit of light in the garden area out back. When we had to leave the next morning before breakfast was scheduled... More
