This bed & breakfast is serene and charming. We were the only guests on a Tuesday night, which was lovely, but we could imagine staying there even with a full house. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The innkeeper, Robin, was friendly and very helpful with recommendations for restaurants, shops, and whatever we needed. Breakfast began with fresh... More

Inn is located right in the center of town. A great location. Staff was very accommodating and breakfast was wonderful. However, the decor is very dated. Room (although clean and comfortable) was dark. There was no wifi in the "carriage house" . We were perfectly happy with not having linens and towels changed during our two night stay, however the... We had a good time. Positives first. Robin is a wonderful innkeeper. Charming, welcoming, and with a host of great local recommendations, she was attentive to all of our needs, and she has a wonderful sense of humor. The common areas are very comfortable and cozy. I plan to come back in the winter season, snuggle up on a couch... More

My brother, sister-in-law, and I stayed for one night in two rooms in the main house. The rooms were charming in their decor, and comfortable in their amenities. Nice quality bed and bedding, good WiFi and TV, private bathroom. The public rooms made one feel right at home. Robin, the innkeeper, took the time to give us some history of... More

We had a one-night stay in Wilmington to break up a long journey and decided to indulge in an old-fashioned B and B experience. The Wilmington Inn is a quaint and comfortable place with a serve-yourself bar (honour system), beautiful lodge-like games room/lounge/library and nicely appointed rooms. While not as slick as a fancy hotel, there is everything you need,... More

The only thing we regret about our stay at the Wilmington Inn & Tavern is that we only stayed there for one night. The place is outstanding and the service impeccable. We stayed at the Wilmington room, which is a nice corner suite that has recently been renovated. The bed is huge and there is a jacuzzi. The breakfast is... More

A remarkable stay in a very authenitc small town. The rooms in the Wilmington Inn might not be the most luxuary ones but this is more than overcompensated by a very warm welcome and very personal from the staff. The breakfast, that is included in the stay is absolutely remarkable and the living room with bar, Darts and Billard facilities... More

We picked this inn rather quickly as a one night stay on our way home from a vacation. Little did we know.! Robin - the Innkeeper/angel who had called us the day before to check our early arrival time met us on arrival. She was very warm and entertaining!! as she showed us the different public spaces available to us.... More

We'll be back! The Inn is so friendly and relaxed. Robin does a great job of making you feel welcome, and serves up a great breakfast. The quaint town center is easily within walking distance, and has taverns, restaurants, shops to keep you busy for days. Make sure to try the Maple Leaf for lunch and drinks, the Wilmington Tavern... The thing that sticks out in my mind of the Wilmington Inn is the staff and how friendly they were. Very inviting. The breakfast that we had there was incredible. The rooms are clean and cozy. Plus, if you have children, they have the best selection of games.
