Went on a motorcycle trip with another couple for three days of riding in Vermont. Since we were not going to spend much time in the room,or at the inn, we were hoping for a clean room, a nice atmosphere, and accommodating staff. We got all three. Mind you this is not a 5 star resort but we weren't looking... More

We stayed here on a bike trip in September and had been forewarned by the trip leader that the rooms were not large and it was not a luxury hotel. So we were prepared for the worst. But, when we arrived, we were greeted with big smiles, patient answers to our questions and sweet service. The rooms are indeed small,... More

Just returned from a 4 night stay at the Old Red Mill. It's located in the heart of Wilmington Vt,a quaint, sleepy New England town. The mill was an actual working mill in the late 1800s, many of the equipment converted to tables, wall hangings and serve well to the environment . A Hugh round fireplace in the middle of... More

I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are small, but, cozy. Only downside, you can hear what is going on in the neighboring rooms. But, that is to be expected the the old and hidden jewels in the Green Mountains. I stayed roadside, the traffic was minimal and not bothersome at all. There wasn't anybody at the check-in desk... Traveling from Upstate NY to Brattleboro on business, my husband and I decided to spend the night in Wilmington. Good decision and the Old Red Mill was a good choice. We enjoyed the comfort of our room, the warmth of the innkeepers, and the delicious dinner (downstairs) at Jerry's Deck. Even with all the "Mudders" arriving at the inn for... More

What a wonderful inn, but what a bad night's sleep. Bottom line is that I will be back for a stay as long as the prices stay low; I will just bring my ear plugs next time. The owners/employees are all so welcoming, and the first floor (lobby, restaurant and bar) is a great place to hang out apres ski;... More

Very homey. Pleasant staff. Excellent food (try the scrod). Easy access to downtown Wilmington. No flash-bang. "bling" or smoke and mirrors. A wonderful place to stay when visiting picturesque VT. Truly charming.

My son and I stayed here last March with a girlfriend of mine and her son for an overnight ski trip. We didn't want to spend a lot of money so this fit the bill right away. But we also did want a little taste of New England and be in the town of Wilmington. No B&B's when traveling with... More

We stayed here on the evening of March 16th 2013 & checked out on the morning of the 17th. That weekend we went up to ski @ Mt Snow on St Pattys day Sun March 17th and we had a blast staying here! The rooms are very basic, small, the walls are thin and the Inns prices tend to go... More
