Our two night stay in the bedroom of the first governor of Vermont, Giles Chittendon, was a wonderful trip to another time and place. You will feel like a governor too, waking up in the huge three room bedroom suite, with its clever nineteenth century wardrobe, drawers, and desks. This house is a very special place, and the owners are... More

We cannot say enough about the old charm of the home and gorgeous views. Jim and Lucy are extremely nice and serve a wonderful breakfast. We jogged the trails every morning and enjoyed the fresh clean air. Beautiful mountain views. The B&B is located less than 10 miles from Burlington. We will definitely be returning to escape the Texas heat.

We stayed here for 5 nights when picking up our son who was an exchangestudent in Williston. The environment is beautiful, I took walks on their well kept trails. The house is wonderful and charming. Jim and Lucy who run the place (and live in the house) made us feel right at home. The breakfasts where absolutely fantastic! Homecooked and... More

My wife and I stayed at the Catamount Bed and Breakfast mid October for the weekend. We had a few events planned in Burlington and other nearby towns, but Jim and Lucy recommended some great restaurants and other attractions. We stayed at the Catamount as a result of a book's review and coupon. The stay was enjoyable and the house... More

The B&B is located at an edge of Williston, but since it is a very small town, it is quite close to the town center as well to Burligton. It is in the middle of a beautiful natural park tranformed into an outdoor center by the owners, with lots of trails in the woods and valleys surrounding the house. The... More

My wife and I spent a night here on our way up to Montreal and we had a wonderful stay. We love the historical character and environmentally-friendly philosophy of Catamount. Jim and Lucy were warm and friendly, but also respected our privacy. We stayed in the spacious Ballroom, which definitely beat staying at a cramped hotel or motel room. Technically,... More

Stayed here for two nights with a friend as an alternative to camping, as the campgrounds were all full over the holiday weekend. Catamount was a big dose of small town curiosities and antique furniture. I felt like we were staying in the country estate my grandparents never had. Lucy and Jim were very helpful and cheerful all the time.... More
