My wife and I often travel with our dog, so we choose places with a pet friendly policy. Paw House has a unique and extensive set of rules regarding dogs. Travelers cannot leave their pets in the room unattended. The inn provides a kennel for the dog while its owners are away. The kennel is heated and soft classical music... More

Thank you for this kind review. Fourteen years of service has taught us that food + dogs in a confined dining room is a combustible combination. This is why we cannot allow dogs in the indoor dining room. In the warmer months we provide outdoor seating where you can have breakfast with your dogs al fresco and many people enjoy... More

I never do this, but I must make an exception in this instance. So, let me begin by stating that a recent review entitled "Terrible" is full of unfair misrepresentations. 1. With respect to the kennel, they tell you up front that your dog will need to be housed in the "playhouse" kennel when the owners leave the dog behind.... More

Their "playhouse" is a very uncomfortable kennel where they are by themselves. They don't mention bringing vaccination records but expect them as soon as you walk in the door. Not a very easy thing to obtain on a Friday evening. We also had flies in our room. We killed 8 when we got in. An hour later, there were 6... More

These folks were angry from the start because they were asked to show proof of their dog's vaccination history. We maintain that this policy is appropriate for the safety of all of our guests. Seemingly all other guests except these people appreciate this common sense policy. Furthermore, we could not possibly make it any clearer that vaccination records are required... More

My wife and I decided to get away for a weekendl. Our Golden is always more comfortable staying with us than boarding, so we decided to take a chance on this type of accommodation. I gotta tell ya, the place exceeded our expectations at every turn. From the house itself, you couldn't smell a dog or see a hair in... More

We are from Cape Cod and visited for two days in December. Mitch, the inn keeper is so helpful, warm and funny, and I think he makes a great omelet . We were able to take our two rescue lab dogs with us which was nice and different. I am sure if you visit during off winter times you and... More

If you have a dog and wish to go somewhere that will make you feel at home, this is the place. Mitch was very accomodating. Murphy is the Paw House Inn. She makes you feel right at home. She makes a wonderful breakfast. She is very knowledgable about the area and she is very funny. You won't be diappointed and... More

Loved our stay, everything was wonderful. I have travelled a lot with our dogs but this place was the most dog friendly that I have experienced. If you are a crazy dog person like us, you will love it. Breakfast was delicious and really nice to sit on deck and see the lovely fall colours with our dog, Lily. Staff... More

Hubby and I took our new rescue dog, 10 year old Trixie, with us to go leaf peeping. Through my investigation, I found this place. Well: WOWZIE! It is fantastic! The service in all areas (human and doggie) is wonderful; the breakfast is scrumptious and the attention to detail was stunning. We were met in the driveway by Mitch, the... More
