My wife and I were looking for somewhere to get away for the weekend. We like to travel with our dog, however, that limits some of the places we can go/stay. We found The Paw House Inn through another web site that specifically identifies pet-friendly lodgings. We're so glad we found Paw House. The first thing one sees when arriving... More

We have been to the Pawhouse at least ten times, bringing our labs, Boston terrier, and spinone in different groupings at various times of the year. This is the one vacation destination that all of us (my husband, daughter and I) get truly excited about. We have stayed in different rooms and find all of them wonderfully clean and comfortable. I... More

We stayed for two nights in the Shakespeare's room. The place was very clean and lots of room for your dog to run around inside and out. My dog milly absolutely loved the place and was so sad to leave. Mitch the owner was so accommodating. His son and staff was very friendly. I would like to go back again... More

We found this B&B through Living Social and because we love traveling with our 2 dogs, we thought we'd give it a try! First time Vermonters and enjoyed it very much. The house was very rustic and the owners are on top of everything from making sure the rooms are clean, getting you comfortable, etc. I was a little concerned... More

My husband received a Christmas gift from our new dog in the form of a Living Social voucher from our new dog, Scampi, for a two nite stay at the Paws House Inn. Fist of all let me state that the owners are very understanding. There were limitations on the time that you could use the voucher and I broke... More

My wife and I often travel with our dog, so we choose places with a pet friendly policy. Paw House has a unique and extensive set of rules regarding dogs. Travelers cannot leave their pets in the room unattended. The inn provides a kennel for the dog while its owners are away. The kennel is heated and soft classical music... More

Thank you for this kind review. Fourteen years of service has taught us that food + dogs in a confined dining room is a combustible combination. This is why we cannot allow dogs in the indoor dining room. In the warmer months we provide outdoor seating where you can have breakfast with your dogs al fresco and many people enjoy... More

I never do this, but I must make an exception in this instance. So, let me begin by stating that a recent review entitled "Terrible" is full of unfair misrepresentations. 1. With respect to the kennel, they tell you up front that your dog will need to be housed in the "playhouse" kennel when the owners leave the dog behind.... More

Their "playhouse" is a very uncomfortable kennel where they are by themselves. They don't mention bringing vaccination records but expect them as soon as you walk in the door. Not a very easy thing to obtain on a Friday evening. We also had flies in our room. We killed 8 when we got in. An hour later, there were 6... More

These folks were angry from the start because they were asked to show proof of their dog's vaccination history. We maintain that this policy is appropriate for the safety of all of our guests. Seemingly all other guests except these people appreciate this common sense policy. Furthermore, we could not possibly make it any clearer that vaccination records are required... More

My wife and I decided to get away for a weekendl. Our Golden is always more comfortable staying with us than boarding, so we decided to take a chance on this type of accommodation. I gotta tell ya, the place exceeded our expectations at every turn. From the house itself, you couldn't smell a dog or see a hair in... More

This was our first time to the Paw House Inn. My boyfriend got me a weekend away for Christmas, and we went January 23rd to the 25th. We have a 7 month old Samoyed named Rajah, who loves the snow, so this seemed like a perfect idea. And it was! When i first herd that wed be staying at a... More
