idk what everyone is talking about how outdated but nice this place is... It's a freaking DUMP! The room smells like a cross between stale alcohol and dirty diapers. The hot tub is in a dirty dungeon and filthy.. So very disappointed!!! STAY AWAY!!! I get better TV reception with an antenna! Parking is horrible. The lot is a big... More

Although this place is dated and in need of a complete makeover- the innkeeper and cook Jim were beyond nice and helpful in every way. They helped us bring our kayak rental to a nice lake even though the rental place would not do so and copped an attitude- Jim the cook took our order each day for breakfast and... More

We went on a Living Social deal in June. Although the buildings are older and not as polished as other, newer places we had a great experience here! The breakfast was fantastic, the 3 cooks (Roger, Jimbo and James) did a great job with the bountiful breakfast and the Surf and Turf dinner (Steak and Lobster!). The bag lunches we... More

thank you for the kind comments. While we may not be the prettiest belle at the ball, we make up for it in amazing food, and genuine hospitality. Given the chance we treat everyone like your special. Jim More

We love the great outdoors so the two day special offered by The Lodge was perfect for us. We were in a good position to do lots of outdoor activities. Our room was a good size with a balcony overlooking Mt. Snow. It was nice but nothing fancy. We had a full breakfast each morning that was included along with... More

WE went there for a little family get-a-way and had a great time. To get you started in the morning they have a great breakfast setup that will not leave you hungry for the rest of the day. There are a lot of activities in the area (biking kayaking ski lifts etc. to keep you busy are you can lounge... More

Building/rooms in need of repair. First room had badly patched hole in the wall, casement window only opened about 2" as mechanism was broken, A/C didn't work, no coffee machine, no advertised "amenities" basket. Bed was very hard. Staff was helpful and responded quickly to moving us to another room but staff was often hard to locate. Advertised barbecue and... More

This is a good choice for those who are looking to spend all day skiing/hiking/outside and just have a place to sleep thats warm. Not flashy but still pretty cozy. If you're looking for a classic and charming New England ski and stay experience do not stay here and do not ski at Mount Snow. Go further North VT or... More

OK, so the room was outdated, carpet -not so nice - wouldn't let my kid sit on it , hot tub mediocre at BEST, and no pool, but the food in the Pub was really good and the people at the front desk were SUPER nice. Also, we drove to the slopes in literally 2 minutes. I mean the next... More

Just at others have characterized in their reviews, this place is not the most modern or luxorious. I have stayed in some other properties in Dover and this is not uncommon however. The walls are thin. Someone was walking around on the floor above us and it sounded like a T-rex with ski boots on. I could also hear the... More

I have to start by saying my wife wanted to leave as soon as we arrived! Although she has high standards, I agree that the place is old and dated! We bought a living social deal and didn't use both nights! Tv didn't even work well. Although they have a dinning room, we were served in the bar room? Salads... More
