I spent this past weekend, March 21-23, with a group of 5 couples (10 total). We had such an amazing weekend! I've stayed at the Gray Ghost many times and will happily go back again :) The Gray Ghost Inn is such an inviting, laid back place and the staff (Carina especially!) could not be nicer. They go out of... More

This place is really nice. Carina, the owner is one of the nicest people we have ever encountered during our travels. She really goes out of her way to accommodate all of her guests. The hot tub + the home cooked breakfast before hitting slopes were added bonuses! We will most definitely stay here again.

The family suite was spacious yet so filthy that I couldn't use the complimentary blanket to cuddle up with because of crusted stains on it which is truly disgusting! I cannot classify this establishment as a true B & B. It lacks atmosphere and hospitality. The decor is a mishmash of what looks like a lot of misfit couches, chairs,... More

I came at the end of the last ski season and spent our first night here, switching Inns for second night. The bed was uncomfortable (could feel the springs), the room was dusty (I got hay fever within minutes of entering our room), and the bathroom seemed like it would be in place in an old, cheap cottage by a... Dear Rob, Thank you for taking your time to do a review for your stay 8 months ago I would like to apologize that your stay at the Inn was less than satisfactory. I got in town close to 10pm, which wasn't a problem for the innkeeper. I went up to my room and it was a little small but very comfortable. There is a large common area with a fireplace and lots of couches- great for reading, although a bit dim. One of the reasons I chose this inn was the delicious... More

We took a motorcycle trip up to the Gray Ghost Inn at the end of September with some friends. We booked our rooms in August and confirmations and changes we had to make were done with ease by Carina. We arrived early evening on Friday, checked in, received a tour of the place and headed across the road to dinner... More

We stayed here this summer for one of the Bridge Weeks with Road Scholar. This is a country inn with charm - run by Carina and her 3 daughters. It is homey and comfortable - fireplace; game room downstairs; hot tub outside; plenty of walking and hiking trails close by. This is quintessential Vermont at it's finest. Our Bridge Week... More

Stayed here for the Green Mountain Adventure Challenge. Super friendly owners, great service, great rooms, can't say enough about how happy we were! BYOB, cozy with a fire place and a game room (pool, ping pong, etc.), just can't say enough nice things. Will stay here again when we go back to Dover!

Had a very nice stay at the Gray Ghost in with three friends in August... Karina was friendly and helpful (we were participating in the Green Mountain Adventure Challenge), breakfast was nice, and the rooms were just as you see on the website... rustic, cozy, no frills necessary! My only wish was that the AC had cooled our third-floor rooms... More
