I stayed at Mt. Snow this summer for a week-long music school. I didn't have any of the troubles other people have reported with bedbugs or filth. I thought the place was reasonably clean, but then again I think that most Motel 6s are perfectly fine. The lodge certainly isn't luxurious, modern, or fancy, and the decor was extremely dated.... more

This is a very bad motel. If i had to say this was the worst motel I have ever stayed in.. ehhh.. Bed bugs in the bed, paper thin walls, doors that open OUT into the hallway like a closet, are all part of the Snow lake lodge. This is a ski bum or snowboarders dream hotel. I thought it... more

Very disappointed in this hotel. I didn't expect much but that was terrible, Mount Snow should be ashamed to have their name on this establishment. We stayed on the fourth floor and over heard another fellow who said "I don't need much just a clean place to lay my head but I don't know if I can even touch that... more

Route 66, the TV show, filmed episode 104 at that location in 1963. Lots of video taken inside and outside of the lodge. Tammy Grimes and Chad Everitt were guest stars. more

Whatever you do, DO NOT stay at this lodge! It was the most horrendous experience we have ever had! The hotel was built in the mid 1960's and has never once been renovated in any way. It is extremely run down and filthy. Our room was extremely small for the 4 of us. The frame of one of the beds... more

The Snow Lake Lodge was very disappointing. As others have noted the building is dirty, needs serious renovation and updating, and has quite unusual construction. The doors are very narrow, the paint on the walls appears to be some kind of sprayed on texture in rather odd colors, peeling in many places. The overall fit and finish is poor. The... more

I stayed at Snow Lake Lodge on 1/27/09 and 1/28/09. There were no crowds at the time. The lodge was quiet during the day and at night, and I got a good night's sleep. My room had two double beds, cable TV, carpeting, its and own bathroom. The only problem with the room was when we arrived, the room temperature... more

Stayed at the Snow Lake Lodge on a weekend ski trip with my ski club. It was the first time our club had stayed there (and most likely the last). The staff were friendly and helpful, but the place is the pits. The lodge was built sometime in the early 60's and it shows! Upon opening the door to our... more

This place is has certainly seen better days. It should be listed as a hostel rather than hotel or even motel. The property is very tired and renovations would not be the answer; a bull dozer would. The one saving grace is the staff. They were polite and friendly and made up for it all. They were outstanding in rectifying... more

Well, you get what you pay for. The location is a 1-2 minute ride from the base, but you sacrifice some for that. Everything was clean, first of all, which was good. It got pretty noisy one night (it was St. Patrick's day weekend, with some excited college kids running through the hallways for a couple hours), but management did... more
