Overall I guess we were pleasantly surprised after reading some of the bad reviews BUT: The good: Front desk staff were great. The pub/lounger area was nice, clean, etc. Service there was satisfactory; the first night not as good as it was busy and there was only one server. The food was satisfactory. The rooms were very clean. The bad... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights while attending a conference. We (my husband and I) had a miscommunication regarding the room reservation; we called their central reservations number and they cheerfully made the adjustment to our satisfaction. When we arrived, we were disappointed. The building is old and tired. Our room was cheaply furnished and decorated with... More

We stayed at the Snow Lake Lodge for skiing at Mt. Snow in between Christmas and New Year's eve 2015. We stayed in a single hotel room, two adults, one teenager, one preteen. You can read the other reviews and get the general idea of the rooms, but keep in mind that this is a LODGE, not a 4-star luxury... More

This is a lodge at best. Don't expect The Ritz -- or even a Holiday Inn Express. Rooms are super small, and the walls are thin but people are also rude and should be courteous when conversing in the halls early in the morning or late at night. I thought the kitsch décor from the 70's was cool but it... More

The Snow Lake Lodge. Not even Walt, the man who developed Mt Snow, would stay here. Upon arrival, I saw the lobby area that opened up into "Walt's Pub." My friends and I would soon come to regret dining there, but first let me tell you about the room I stayed in. Unimpressive and claustrophobic, the room lacked a microwave... More

My family stayed here over a 3 day weekend. The hotel hasn't changed since I stayed here as a kid in the 80's. We got a one bedroom suite, thank god or we would have left. Beds mushy, no comforters only thin thin blankets, and pillows are terrible. All needs updating! mt Snow needs to put some money into the... More

We stayed here for a weekend getaway, the hotel feels like its the 1970's or 1980's. The room is absolutely tiny, the blankets were terrible, you can hear noise from everywhere (hallway and above). The tv was ancient . The tv also just lost signal randomly several times. The breakfast was lame. I wouldn't stay here again. They really need... More

This is a place to stay near the destination (mt snow). The property is and should never be your destination. Absolutely amazing how little $ they put into it - almost like somebody bought it 30 years ago and let it be for historic reasons. Rooms are tight (1 adult/3kids), beds and linens old, walls thin, ceiling low and the... More

A great value during this "in demand" fall foliage season. Easy to get to, close to everything and situated on a small lake with the mountains as a backdrop. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and everything was very clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Perfect for a weekend stay.

We stayed a long weekend for the Labor Day Brewers Fest, so what we were looking for in summer would obviously be different for someone staying to ski in the winter. Pros: -Very warm and friendly staff! -Cool pool & outdoor hot tub -Great morning coffee -Walking distance to the mountain (about 5 mins) Cons: -Very aged hotel; tiny, tiny... More
