We stayed in the Teddy Bear room - it had a great steam shower. The owners / hosts were very nice, and breakfast tasted great. A very unique house with lots of country decorations, but still spotless. I recommend exploring the property with their snowshoes. We hope to come back someday and stay in the treehouse.

We had a one-night stopover on our way to Montreal, and had a lot more fun than we expected. This is a unique property, with only four rooms (each with their own personality) and beautiful and interesting common areas. Willie and Greg are very personable and great hosts, and Greg's hunting interests are on full display throughout the lodge. The... More

There is no simple way to describe how much we enjoyed the Moose Meadow Lodge and the company of our hosts - Greg and Willie! Maybe, the best way should be to mention that when we returned to New York and parked in front of our building one of the kids (a 3 year old girl) started crying and insisted... More

We just returned from our second visit to Moose Meadow, our first during the Vermont winter. Such gorgeous views from the lodge windows while we enjoyed the comfortable living rooms and roaring fires. We stayed in the Mountain View room and loved the cozy space on the second floor. The vaulted ceilings, large closet, cute bathroom, and sky lights were... More

We were seeking a quiet, romantic get-away in the midst of a chaotic fall in Boston. We were not disappointed. Willie and Greg met us at the door, Greg gave us a tour, and we were welcomed heartily. We stayed in the Creel room - great views of the mountains and pond! - the huge shower was phenomenal. Delicious breakfasts,... More

We really enjoyed our visit to the Moose Meadow Lodge, Greg and Willie are wonderful hosts. We had the privilege of getting married on the property by Greg who is also a Justice of the Peace. We stayed in the Duck Room, and are looking forward to coming back for another wonderful visit.

Greg and Willie are exceptional hosts of their establishment. The room that we stayed in (Creel Room) was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed hiking the 86 acres around the Lodge in the morning, which were very safe, peaceful and supplied us with magnificent views (especially at the skyloft). Other then the room and the property there is a few... More

We stayed at Moose Meadow Lodge for 4 nights in Oct. and had a wonderful time. Willie & Greg are excellent hosts - so friendly and helpful. The lodge is amazing. It is fun to just look around at all the furnishings and the fine workmanship. The property is also amazing - 86 acres with hiking paths, a tree house,... More

We stayed at Moose Meadow back in 1999 and tried to book on later vacations to New England but they were always full. This time I got the Duck room as I reserved it several months in advance. We were there two nights during peak foliage. The room was incredibly comfortable and well furnished. There is now a screened porch... More
