Graham and Maxine made us feel very welcome and at home from the minute we arrived until the moment we left. The room was very comfortable and the breakfasts were amazing!! Lots of help and advice about where to go, what to see and where to eat...even calling friends to ask their advice as well! Couldn't imagine a nicer place... more

Our hosts were really friendly and helpful and the accommodation was the best we had experienced in the New England States. Breakfast was beyond our expectations and fuelled us for the day. We felt completely at home and it was a perfect end to our holiday. This B & B is excellent value for money. The surrounding area is beautiful... more

This place was adorable! I was a little skeptical because the photo of the room that I booked looked very small (Blue jay) but when I arrived I was pleased to see that it was just fine and that the picture only showed the bed. There was a lot more space in the room than the photo shows. Graham and... more

I was up in Vermont for my cousin's wedding during the fall foliage season and was searching for a quiet place. The owners are some of the most welcoming hosts I have ever met, they were able to accommodate us at the last minute and able to offer a wonderful room. The rooms are amazingly comfortable, spotless and well decorated.... more

After the whirlwind of dropping our children at college in Burlington we needed a place to relax and change gears to attend a wedding at the nearby Round Barn. Graham and Maxine provided just what we needed, a warm and friendly place that felt like home. The rooms were very clean and neat. The breakfast was superb and beautifully presented... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at this B&B last year and I couldn't wait to visit again in 2009. I absolutely love this place! It's hidden in the mountainside, but upon entering you know you've found a gem. Run by an English couple, the Sugartree Inn feels like home. They are very friendly and try to make your stay the... more

Went up for a weekend away and found the room very comfortable and cozy. The breakfasts were awesome and a great start to the day. But what made the stay that extra bit special was the hosts. Graeme and Maxine just topped off our very special weekend in Vermont. Thank you very much! more

My huband and I frequently stay in B & Bs in the US, Canada and Europe. The Sugar Tree was one of our very nice experiences and why we continue to stay in B & Bs. Maxine and Graham were welcoming and friendly. The house has plenty of guest space to sit, read, chat or play a game. There was... more
