we stayed here at the end of a touring holiday in Quebec. The initial impression leaves a little to be desired,as the entrance is somewhat bare, and the Inn is to all intent closed between noon and 4p.m. However, once you enter into the laid-back atmosphere,The Inn is superb. The bedrooms are quirky, and most comfortable. The staff, and in particular Ari.the general manager, couldn't be more helpful.The... more

The experience was good, but not great…and not in line at all with the cost of the stay. The inn is beautiful and the decoration inspired with each room having its’ own unique Vermont character crafted from the best local materials. Obviously no expense was spared in building this inn. Maintenance was adequate, particularly as this is a snow location... more

We spent a long weekend at the Pitcher Inn and stayed in the colonial room with the fireplace. It was very romantic and the room was immaculate. Food and wine were outstanding, as is to be expected. The staff was friendly, especially the manager who gave us a tour of the other rooms in the hotel. We were happy with... more

Pitcher Inn is everything you hope it will be, and everything it says it is: a gracious inn, simple but high end, with superb service and wonderful food and cozy surroundings. The dining room is beautiful with two distinct dining rooms each of which are lovely in their ways (I'd recommend the fireplace room for dinner, the smaller brighter room... more

My husband (now) and I did not stay at the pitcher inn....but we went there right after we got engaged at Sugarbush Mountain for dinner. It was wonderful. The wines were amazing and where we sat in the dining room, we could hear the brook babbling. Everything was wonderful, to letting me use the house phone to call my family... more

What a fantastic place this is - set in the picturesque village of Warren, this Inn is a haven of luxury and comfort. All the rooms are decorated in a different way - we stayed in the School room and loved it. The amenities were excellent and it was a lovely touch to have a tea/coffee counter on the first... more

My new wife and I spent the first five days of our marriage at the Pitcher Inn. Our expectations were so high that we based our honeymoon around the inn and flew from Ireland. And were not disappointed... Someone else has described the Pitcher Inn as magical and that is exactly how we found it. The staff were friendly, the... more

Excellent all around. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and Ari (owner/manager) does what he can to make your stay as pleasant as can be. So many great things to do around the area as well. At less than $1,000 per night for a 2 bedroom suite, I would actually call it a good value! more

This is an extraodinary hotel. We stayed in the Mountain room - it was expensive - but then I think it was probably worth it. Its all potentially a bit disneyland - but its been done with such style and attention to detail theres nothing to fault. We accidently stumbled into afternoon tea (no one else seemed to be around)... more
