Cannot beat it for the cost. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and appointed just as advertised and the continental breakfast was decent. It is in a great location for skiing Lincoln Peak. We would definitely stay there again

This was our third visit, all for skiing. First off, it is a 'Lodge' style accommodation as advertized with a lofty exposed post and beam lobby area. Very nice. The rooms are spic and span and though smaller, still spacious enough for my wife and I and our college aged son for a two night visit. A full week would... More

This is now our 5th stay at the Sugar Lodge and we have never been disappointed. Great hosts and facilities at a great price and in a good location for skiing at Sugarbush or exploring Vermont. There are a range of good quality restaurants nearby to try out for a tasty supper. The local bus service stops right in the... More

We had a great time, hotel was clean, staff (Susan) was friendly and the package deal was outstanding!!! Minutes from the base lodge we were on the lifts in 20 minutes! Well worth the trip, we plan on going back for spring skiing!

This was my visit to Sugarbush and the Mad River area. We spent 3 nights at the Sugar Lodge. The hotel was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. This hotel is less than a mile from the base of Sugarbush and is a terrific value. The rooms are on the cozy side and not brand new but the... More

Stay during our trip to Sugarbush for skiing. 1. Lodge Appearance - Friendly looking lodge from the outside with christmas lights. Appealing for economical costs. 2. Interior - 2nd floor, 2 full size beds. Very clean but outdated. Bathroom has soap/shampoo available. 3. Lobby - Cleaned, fireplace, game area. Slightly chilly in the morning. Small dining room for morning breakfast.... More

The rates are economical BUT not worth it. This place needs serious updating to lounge furniture, bedding, paint, cleanliness of stairways, wall dings. In short the upkeep is lousy. Front clerk growled at us for more pillows. Dust was everywhere in the room. Only one window on the second floor. Felt like I was in a cave. No commercial ice... More

My husband and I stayed at the Sugar Lodge in May while helping our son move to the valley. We loved the mountain lodge décor. Our room was immaculately clean and appointed with everything we needed, especially a tv in the room. There are a lot of quaint b&b’s in the valley that don’t have this amenity, but my husband...
