Reuniting with our 20 yr. old age son (normally away at college), and 1 post-graduate son, age 22 (now working full time) has become more of a long-range strategic plan than a casual vacation. But, we did it! Snowboarding & Skiing at Sugarbush Mtn. all day, and returning to our "Home away from Home" at the Waitsfileld Inn was magical!... More

After a great day of skiing at Sugarbush we headed to the Waitsfield Inn to relax. The innkeeper, Jon, was extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend this Inn to everyone. I especially enjoyed the tasty drinks at the bar, and later that night we enjoyed the roaring fire in the great room while the snow fell softly outside;... More

The Inn is very cozy and quiet. Very close to Sugrarbush and Mad River Glenn and multiple restaurants. The hosts are very accommodating and make a great breakfast. I will definitely be staying at the Waitsfield Inn again!

Even though we arrived a little later in the evening, the inn was warm and welcoming. Found our room easily and it was clean with nice decor that was homey but not filled with a lot of clutter that a lot of innkeepers find charming. Lots of hot water for showers, breakfast room overlooked the town common where we watched... More

We loved our stay at the Waitsfield Inn. It's cozy and inviting. Vickie and Jon are lovely hosts wanting to meet all your needs. The breakfasts were great. The location very nice with the ability to walk into town. The restaurants were the best we ate at in Vermont! The Mad River Glass Gallery has spectacular blown glass. A must... More

An absolutely wonderful stay. We have stayed at The Waitsfield Inn before and every time we stay Jon and Vickie are constantly updating the Inn. When you enter the Inn you become family. You are cared for here. Breakfast is the best. The location of the Inn is the best in the entire Mad River Valley

This is a wonderful historical B & B. All the rooms were beautifully appointed and clean with everything we needed. You can tell they make every effort to make sure your stay is the best, and it was. The owners were delightful, friendly and made us feel so welcome. Our 10 day stay went by so fast. The fall colors... More

Stayed for several nights at the Waitsfield Inn and couldn't have found better accomodations with delicious breakfast in the morning. The Innkeepers, Vicki and Jon, were very sincere and helpful relative to local attractions and restaurants. They make your stay welcoming and homey. I highly recommend the Inn for anyone visiting the Mad River Valley or skiing at Sugarbush Mntn.

We selected this Inn for its location – a central point for visiting sites in the Green Mountains and north Vermont in the fall, and it proved to be just that. Our room (Davis) was quite spacious and recently redecorated. Breakfast was served in the bar/dining area and was perfectly adequate. So why only an average score? Really because it... More
