First visited the newly remodeled White Horse Inn in August 2007 on the advice of friends. Just a little girls weekend for myself, mom, mom in law and friend. The host and hostess greeted us the day we were due to arrive.We were not left hanging around the lobby wondering what to do ! the information we needed was given to us promptly as they knew we wanted to settle in and relax for awhile . We stayed at the White Horse Inn in November of 2007, before the snow arrived. We had visited prior to the renovations and I can't believe what a difference there's been. All the rooms are freshly painted, the wallpaper removed, new carpeting throughout, renovated/updated bathrooms..just wonderful: In addition the bedding and room furniture are new too. The room was small but price was right, only $60.00 per night. The carpet was dirty. There was no telephone in the room. I had to use the phone in the front hallway. You can't drink the tap water, however bottled water is provided. There was no air conditioner in my room and it was July so needless to say... more

As the new owners of the White Horse Inn, we encourage people to visit us, as the place is no longer "ho humm". We have recently painted, carpeted, replaced all furniture, and all mattresses.
