It was just ok. The beds were fairly comfortable and the room was a decent size. I did check the bed and I did notice a clump of hair with some light staining. We truly enjoyed our stay and found the innkeepers to be super accomodating. In fact, Lisa let me borrow her boots when I didn't have anything suitable to wear to go snowshoeing! We arrived and spoke with the husband and wife owners who appeared to be preparing a meal but seemed to be having some personal problems with one another; consequently, they were neither welcoming nor friendly. Here's the good and not so good: Breakfast was large and delicious, the game /excercise room was great with pool table, musical instruments, excercise bikes, and tons of games. This bed and breakfast is in a wonderfully beautiful location. We used it as a home base to go to Cabot Cheese, Ben and Jerry's, and more. The hosts were wonderful and the lodge is beautifully decorated with things rom around the world. The breakfasts are HUGE and the rooms very nice. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! more

We were in town for a wedding, so we didn't get to enjoy the area very thoroughly. However, the owners, Lisa and Mike, were very accommodating to us. This lodge is a beautiful example of what an old-fashioned ski lodge should be like. The rooms are very comfortable and each one has a theme.
