I can't say enough good things about the Millbrook inn. Joan was incredible and went above and beyond. When we arrived we were greeted by the delicious smell of bread she had just freshly baked and kisses from her adorable dog Riley. Joan helped us with everything, even loaning her personal snowboots when I was in need! She is an... More

Our stay at Millbrook Inn this weekend was a first for me and the first in a long time for my lady (she visited there last about 8 years ago). We and our friends had a lovely and relaxing visit there, convenient to our ski destination at Mad River Glen. The innkeeper Joan is interesting, attentive and a fine cook.... More

The Millbrook Inn felt like a second home the moment we walked in the front door and met Joan. Joan is the perfect host has tons of Vermont knowledge for skiers and always up for good conversation, not to mention an amazing breakfast chef - still thinking about the blueberry pancakes! Each room is different with it's own personality, color... More

We've been to this inn more times than I can count over the past 15 or so years and always look forward to going back. Joan, the host, is terrific--interesting and fun to talk to (after all this time, she's become a friend), accommodating, and a fabulous cook. Breakfast--you have your choice of pancakes, waffles and any type of egg--is... More

After staying at hotels for 10 years, we decided to give a country inn a try. Just finished a 3 night stay and had a wonderful visit. The inn is very comfortable – the beds, temperature (not too hot or too cold), and the overall atmosphere. The rooms were very quaint, with stenciling and quilts, and also very clean. Wonderful... The Millbrook Inn is a great place to stay in Waitsfield, Vt. It is very convenient to Sugarbush and all the skiing the area has to offer. It is also very close to the main part of the town of Waitsfield. I have stayed in many places in Waitsfield, and this is among the best of locations. The Inn is... More

While searching for a place that was dog friendly I was given the name of this Inn from some another place that did not allow dogs. The hostess at the Millbrook Inn was very kind and loving to my rescued dog Bonnie. It was a surprise for boyfriend that friends from out of town were joining us for dinner and... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Millbrook Inn!!! The Dallas Hilton it is not and I hope it will never be, but for a get-a-way in the hills of Vermont, it is perfect. Nice rooms and Joan was "Superwoman." From the time we arrived until we left she was the most gracious hostess I have ever seen. She is a... More

We couldn't have asked for more from the scenery and the host, Joan, at Millbrook Inn. We woke up every morning to a wonderful breakfast outside in the gorgeous backyard, playing with her awesome dog, Riley. We fell asleep each night to the sound of frogs in nearby small pond. And during the day Joan went out of her way... More

We stayed at the Millbrook Inn after a 6 day hiking trip on the Long Trail. Originally booked a Sat. night stay, but we hiked out a day early. Joan happily accommodated us on Friday instead of Saturday. Rooms were elegant, clean, well kept. Joan was a delightful host and knowledgeable about hiking the LT (and skiiing Mad River Glen)....
