Our family recently stayed at the Basin Harbor Resort. It was a convenient location for our graduation activities in Middlebury, VT. Our entire stay at the resort was excellent. All of the staff were friendly, greeted us at every turn, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Both the on site breakfast buffet and restaurant... More

We cannot say enough good things about BHC. We stayed at BHC for our daughter's graduation from Middlebury College. We are so glad we did. Wonderful accommodations, wonderful people, service and plenty of activities. We golfed as a family on Friday, boat cruise on Lake champlain, family lunch at the Red Mill .... This was the first trip in years... More

I rarely review hotels/resorts I stay at (in fact, I never have), but I felt that BHC deserves special mention. The cabins are spread out over a 450 acre campus, with many cabins fronting on the extraordinarily beautiful Lake Champlain. We stumbled upon BHC when looking for lodgings for our grandson's Middlebury graduation, and after all hotels in Middlebury were... More

Of all the places I've staid, I would have to say that the Basin Harbor Club is the most unique. This venue is actually a sprawling campus that holds much more than just the main hotel. There is a separate lodge, many cabins, a separate exercise building, separate restaurant besides the one in the main hotel, a golf course, tennis... More

We're so glad to see that this guest appreciated the sense of place that Basin Harbor offers. The spread out campus allows people to spread out and enjoy the environment - although things are sufficiently close together that it really isn't necessary to drive once you arrive. Many thanks for your review - we look forward to welcoming you back... More

I happened to go BHC two years in a row with a group of friends - everybody loved it, our group's ages ranged from 3 y.o. to 65 y.o., and it was just great! Lots of activities, great food, picturesque landscapes - perfect blend!

A friend who is in the travel/tourism business (as am I) brought us to the Basin Harbor Club. We met Tim Lynk who was so accommodating and took us for a tour of the grounds! AMAZING! The grounds, the scenery, and all of the charm the cabins have to offer are so very unique. We are planning a trip back... More

We visited Basin Harbor Club to celebrate a friends birthday. The grounds were beautiful, the waterfront quaint...and the rooms comfortable (although a bit outdated) There were 2 weddings happening at out time of stay and our room was directly behind the reception tent of one wedding. We enjoyed the fun and noise as we were looking for a fun weekend.... More

Our group had two cottages for 5 days at Basin Harbor. First the positives: The cottages were quaint and well maintained. One had excellent views of the harbor and the Palisades Cliffs. The other did not. The buffet breakfasts were very good and meals at the on-site Red Mill restaurant were very reasonable and good. The staff at the Red... More

It's nice to know you enjoyed most aspects of your visit last fall. We apologize for the lack of hot water, and the spotty houskeeping. Did the staff offer you alternate accommodations? We hope so. We're glad you found your cottages well maintained and clean, and that the Red Mill staff took good care of you so you could watch... More

My family consists of a college junior, a high school junior, two nearly senior parents and a middle aged Chow-Shepard mix. ALL of us enjoyed our stay at the Basin Harbor Club. The food was wonderful; our youngest ate "the best burger in his life" at the Red Mill. Its hard to believe but it is as beautiful in real... More

My wife, 3 year old son and our dog just spent one night here this weekend. We had a one bedroom cottage, the Edenhall. VERY expensive, and while I'm not sure anything would quite be worth what we paid, I'd have to say that if this wasn't such a splurge for us we would be back more often. Don't expect... More
