My husband and I travelled through parts of New England and Canada, spending a couple of days in each place. We started with Stratton Mountain in Vermont because of a Travel Zoo deal. We were so happy we made this choice. Although the rooms were a bit rustic (perfect for skiing, obviously,) they were clean and comfortable. The staff throughout... More

I always stayed in a condo during winter and summer visits. Comfortable accommodations. Not a skier myself, I know its slopes are appreciated by those who ski. One of my friends used to be a ski instructor for advanced skiers there. Summer had walking trails and everything you needed in the resort. ( I looked but never spotted the exotic... More

Although my stay was only one night and all the shops were closed, I really enjoyed my stay. I have never been skiing but my one night stay made me feel like I would like to try it. It definitely has the ski lodge feel to it.

This place is truly a gem! Gorgeous views, gorgeous lodging, and the village is fantastic! The golf courser is also very well maintained, but not too difficult for the mid-handicapper. The staff are all friendly and helpful. We were here for a wedding, and it was a beautiful experience.

We came here for our annual mother daughter trip and it was our first time skiing/snowboarding. The staff was great and always helpful on the entire resort. Also, the resort made everything easy, from buying lift tickets, they were ready upon check in, to buying lessons, rentals and food. We only left one night. We were here 4 days. We... More

Stayed at Long Trail House in January 2014. This was our second stay here. The first time we stayed (Mar 2013), we were in a one bedroom unit that was fine, but pretty old. This time we stayed in a unit that was updated and much nicer. Part of the gamble here is that the units are all different so... More

Just returned from an excellent 5 day ski trip to Stratton Mountain Resort. The conditions were perfect, well-groomed trails, friendly staff on the mountain. Felt like we had the mountain to ourselves at times! Our kids took both the 1/2 day kids ski school program as well as a private lesson - they enjoyed both and liked their instructors. We... More

Went as a couple to the Long Trail House and had a great time. The location was perfect - right across from the Village. The Village is great, lots of restaurants and shops. Our room was so cute and quaint, lovely fireplace and balcony. Although it was like 5 degrees we made use of the outdoor hottub after a long... More

My husband and I couldn't have been happier with our trip. Perfect snow conditions, beautiful room(founders lodge). We snowboarded mid week (Tuesday-Thursday) and we had no crowd at all. No lines and no crowded trails. We tried several resturants and they all had good food aswell. It's not cheap here, but money will spent!

The conditions are usually good, and the staff keep things optimized. The trails vary from novice to expert... so all in the family have a place for snow fun. The staff are always friendly and professional. The ski school is great, and the kids enjoy going.
