Stayed at Longtrail with my two kids aged 16 and 12 for my 12 y/o son's bday. Yes it was the Burton US Open weekend. Did that mean adventures everywhere?? nah... the arcade was closed, the shops were ghost town-ish by 7pm. The Sunbowl was wayyyyy too jammed for our taste. Snow- OK for March- corn-ish but do-able. Room- lovely-... more

Stayed in a one bedroom condo at the the Long Trial House for 5 days around Christmas of 2008 and had a great experience. The condo was a good size for 4 people (2 in the bedroom and 2 on the livingroom sofa bed). Everything was clean and house keeping comes through everyday just like a hotel. The condo is... more

We stayed at the Long Trail House from 12/25-12/28. Overall, we were pleased with our stay. The location is amazing--minutes from the lifts and minutes from the village. The room was very clean and cozy. The only complaint I had was with the other guests...They let their kids run wild through the halls screaming all evening--Probably not so bad if... more

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our long weekend at the Long Trail House in Stratton. Check-in went smoothly and we parked in the heated indoor garage which is really convenient and attached to the hotel. You never have to clean off your car and we kept our skis there at night. We stayed in a studio room which was... more

My fiancee and I stayed there for an entire week in February. We just loved it there. The room was great. Nicely decorated and all. Very clean and neat too. Cleaning staff was excellent they even did our dishes when we were away. I was so surprised they did that. We also loved the 3 outdoor hot tubs and the... more

Great skiing among stunning scenery. Night life is kind of boring.. Not for singles or couples looking for partying at night. Killington is better for that. However the Long Trail House offered great hot tub jacuzzis and cold pool. Nice atmosphere. I would return with my kids. If I go with friends, I'd go elsewhere with more opportunities for nightlife.... more

Stratton is not a good place to bring your family. We went to play golf and the course was in awful condition and they were very rude and rushing us to hurry up all day. I would not go back, ghost town and what was open was very overpriced. We also don't ski there in the winter because it is... more

We stayed at the Long Trail House for a long weekend and it was great. It is very quiet this time of year.. the summer season hasnt really started up yet. We went to manchester to shop, eat and go to the top of MT Equinox. The gondola at Stratton wasnt running yet, and the stores were closed.. ghost town!... more

Our family of four just returned from a Spring break trip to Stratton Mountain. We stayed in the Long Trail house in a one bedroom condo. The room was clean and well equipped. The facility was beautiful and staff helpful and friendly. The location was only a five minute walk to the slopes through the village. A free ski locker... more

This resort is outstanding. The access to the mountain is easy, and we had a spectacular view of the mountain. The kids loved the outdoor pool, even in the frigid weather we experienced (-25 at the peak with the wind chill) and the skiing was excellent. We loved the new magic carpet that is enclosed. The mountain changed their policy... more
