Mountain is nice and I'm a repeat visitor. Local restaurants and stores are all good and mountain is very enjoyable to ski with the family. Black Bear Lodge was a huge disappointment. Food from the last room occupant found in a dresser drawer. Typical college feel, kids screaming in the parking lot at 2 am. Three nights and something happened... More

We went for a day trip there and were very happy about the resort. I tried most of the green trails as I am not a very confident skier. The view on all the green trails were amazing, I love skiing pass by all the vacation houses along the run and imagine myself staying there and ski in and out... More

I was just in Stratton last week for a few days. The mountain/resort is an easy drive from NJ. Customer service was extremely friendly and helpful at every interaction. The condos at Long Trail House are conveniently located across the street from the mountain. A good amount of shops in the village, but it has a very corporate feel to... More

I'm so confused about all the other reviews saying how helpful and knowledgeable the staff was. They were completely useless, starting with the ski school. We chose this mountain because it was our children's first time skiing and we wanted them to have a great experience. The first day one of our kids got sick so we brought the other... More

Stratton Mountain is a wonderful ski destination with a good mix of trails, nice village, nice people. The Long Trail Lodge is a 5 - 10 walk to the lifts, across the main road from the Village. Generally, the common areas have lovely appointments. The two little hot tubs (clean and well maintained) are insufficient to handle the demand at... More

Lovely day trip to see the ice castles. They were so beautiful. I hear these are the smallest ice castles compared to the ones in Utah, etc. all the same we had fun seeing them during the day and then later on when they were all lit up in the dark. Be prepared as it is very cold! The mountain... More

The mountain was of course beautiful but due to the lack of snow was a bit Icey. The room at the long trail house was nice. Fire place, stove, sink. I had called to ask that a couple items be sent to our room and was informed that nobody was available to accommodate my request. Was simply asking for some... More

We stayed at Stratton Mountain for the first time from 12/28 to 1/1. Overall, our stay was fairly pleasant. We went in with the expectation that everything would be expensive and that there would be crowds given that it was the week after Christmas. We knew we would not have many open weekends to ski this winter so we bit... More

We have been choosing Stratton Mountain for many years as it is a quiet, pretty place to spend time skiing. It is not the Alps, but provides ample amount of terrain and everyone in our group always enjoys it. The prices on the mountain itself for food are a bit outrageous to be honest, but if you stay in a... More

Today is December 30th and it feels as if most of NY, NJ, and Massachusetts is all here. 550 for a family of 4 for just lift tickets and rentals seems steep. Yes, fun, upscale full service resort but people and lines everywhere including every shop and food outlet... even during non peak times of day. If you are planning... More
