I've skied a couple mountains in VT but this so far is my favorite. Really nice mountain with nice variety of runs. Lines weren't too bad to get on the lifts. Overall really great ski weekend. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Long Trail Lodge. Very spacious. It was very nice. Staff was great. Location was close to skiing -a little bit of walk but very easy. Skiing was great. We enjoyed all of the restaurants in the area. Gondola was down a lot and many lifts closed but trails were all great. Definitely would go back.

I love this hotel! My family and I first came here 4 years ago, and ever since then we've been coming back. The beds are truly fantastic and the location is even better. It is literately a 5 minute walk to the lift! There are tons of places to eat nearby as well as ski stores. If you're coming to... More

We were trying out Stratton for the first time for some spring skiing this April. Saturday was a little bit sketchy but Sunday turned out to be amazing spring conditions. PROS: The mountain has good terrain and I bet is even better in the winter when you can go into the glades more. The gondola is really nice, I'm glad... More

It was my first time to Stratton and I immediately fell in love with it!! Great groomed trails and excellent terrain for the intermediate skier. For March the conditions couldn't have been better. Friday was a much better ski day in terms of the crowds and lift lines. The resort is lovely, very European and easy to get around. I... More

I've been coming here with my family for the past 10 years and we have always loved stratton. We've stayed at all the local hotels next to the village but recently purchased our own home near the mountain. This is a great spot for New Years as well as pretty much any other time of the year. If you love... More

Ok, I read all of the negative reviews and felt compelled to write after spending part of the Pres week holiday at Stratton Mt resort. True, if you are looking for hard core rugged double blacks, this is not the place for you. However, we found beautifully groomed powdery really long trails, an impeccably clean well run resort and friendly... More

Expensive Lessons, Expensive Beers, Expensive Experience. HOWEVER, the mountain was very well groomed and I had a great time with friends. I would suggest not going on a holiday weekend unless you want to wait on lift lines longer then the great wall of China. Their strip of shops and bars added to the nightlife, which is good considering the... More

How long were the lines? Waited 35 minutes on the Gondola after the first run. The next time down the line was 2x the size. NO more Gondola. Time for early lunch? Nope. The line for lunch was 30 minutes… at 10 am. They do not even start serving lunch until 10:30! No lunch. Waited 45 minutes to get half... More

We stopped at the mountain to visit the popular Ice Castles. We went at night to enjoy the light show displayed from all the colored lights embedded in the ice castle sculptures. This was a really fun activity. We took lots of pictures of the castle structures and pictures of ourselves goofing off in front of all the awesome castles.... More
