Lobby & Dining area very nice. Carpeting in hallways and rooms need to be replaced, thread bare and stained. Beds are comfy, bring your own pillows...the ones provided have no support. Poor use of space in the rooms, dresser (with broken drawers) tucked into an alcove behind the door, "desk" is a black and chrome overly large table with a... more

My teenage son and I stayed here on a last minute spring break trip in March, 2009. Location can't be beat. Either a 4 minutes walk to lifts or a two minute van ride and the vans were always around. Very nice to put all the ski stuff on in the room. There are 3 places to eat - all... more

After reading some of the previous reviews we were very nervous about staying here. We went with 8 people, all in their 50's. We've definitely stayed in much more posh hotels, but for a quick ski trip, the Inn fit the bill. We made sure we had superior rooms on the third floor so no one was stomping their ski... more

“The Stratton Inn Homeless Shelter”? “Food was terrible”? “Shocked at Poor Condition”? Either the Stratton Inn underwent a massive overhaul in the last two months or these reviewers stayed at ANOTHER Stratton Inn. Let’s not forget this is the cheapest hotel BY FAR where you can literally walk (in your ski boots, even) to the bottom of the slopes. So,... more

I understand this is one of the least pricy place to stay close to the mountain. But it doesn't mean it has to be badly managed. Location is good. Short walk to the slopes or shuttle service takes you right there. Room is terrible though. Some of the light bulbs are broken in the room. The bathroom door doesn't shut... more

This hotel is so old and dated, and not properly kept up. It was over $200 per night and the quality of the rooms was deplorable. The management should be embarrassed and Intrawest (ski mountain owners) should bull doze this place and build a new hotel if they can't maintain this one. Besides being dirty and dated, it was the... more

We stayed here with a Caravan tour. The rooms are very tired and in bad need of nw carpet and bedding. The room was not cleaned very well either. However, the food in the restaurant was excellent. more

The Inn at Stratton is a bit noisy and problematic but is good for location. They provide a shuttle service to and from the main lifts at the mountain. We stayed in the "Superior" room with paint chipping off the walls. They still have those '70s heat lamps in the bathrooms that you always hit the wrong switch and end... more

My husband and I traveled to Stratton the day after Christmas expecting a winter wonderland and all we achieved was the fear of leaving there with scabies. We entered the lodge and were overwhelmingly disappointed. There was a woman running through the main entrance in a shirt without any pants. The inn was cramped with people and I am thankful... more

I came up to ski Thanksgiving week, and actually stayed elsewhere this year, but booked Thanksgiving dinner in the Inn. The restaurant had just gotten a new chef. Chef is using the word generously. The turkey dinner was awful. i could have had better at the diner down the road. The turkey wasn't even sliced. It seemed to have been... more
